I'm ALWAYS for blocking aid to universities for any reason but it's very difficult not to notice that the GOP couldn't be bothered to do this when universities were declaring that white people are evil

Or when they discriminated against white people in admissions

Or when they were holding kangaroo courts to destory the lives of men accused of sexual misconduct

Or when they were they pushing communism on the student body

Or when they were holding anti-American protests

Or when they were burning American flags

Or when they were promoting BLM

Or when they were pushing COVID vax mandates

Or when they were chanting about the need to destroy western civilization

Or when they were attacking Christianity

Or when they were teaching that men can become women

The only thing that the GOP House seems to agree on is that Americans who are not loyal to a foreign power need to be punished

So it may not be true that American politics is entirely controlled by Israel, but you can see why any rational human being who has not been totally brainwashed by Fox News and Newsmax may suspect that to be the case

But when the low and middle class can’t afford child care, rent/mortgage and groceries - they have to pull out of their 401k and retirement funds (those who even have it).

At face value, it’s cool to have Cavs basketball in one central location.

HOWEVER, a basic League Pass subscription now costs less than the basic Cavs monthly subscription.

Even adding up the total of the basic League Pass subscription (17 x 7) comes out to less than the basic Cavs season pass.

It’s now cheaper for out-of-market fans than in-market fans to watch the Cavs. Of course, the Cavs remain blacked out on League Pass for everyone in the region.

Former Israeli war cabinet member Benny Gantz has revealed that the Biden administration sent four senior US military officers to Israel following the October 7 massacre in an effort to dissuade Israeli leaders from launching a major ground offensive in the Gaza Strip.

“Four US generals tried to stop us,” Gantz said in a new interview on Raz Sauber’s podcast, describing previously undisclosed discussions between Israeli leaders and senior American officers during the opening weeks of the war.

According to Gantz, the American officers warned Israeli officials about the dangers of sending forces deep into Gaza’s densely populated urban areas and invoked the experience of US troops in Fallujah, Iraq, where American forces fought some of the fiercest urban battles of the Iraq War.

Gantz said he rejected their argument, maintaining that after Hamas’ October 7 assault, Israel had no viable alternative to a large-scale military response aimed at dismantling the terrorist group and recovering the hostages it had taken into Gaza.

The former IDF chief of staff was in a position to participate directly in the discussions.

Georgia audited its own data center tax breaks and found that the state gave up $474 million in sales taxes in one year—and got back just $41 million from the industry. At least 38 states have deals like this. (It's not clear whether all that money the state waived was needed to attract the construction: in Georgia's case, by the state's own estimate, 70% of the data center construction would have happened anyway.)
