@annelisetv@Cumbriapolice That usually happens when a road is closed. Police will always try to mange traffic and keep a single flow going but when a scene is either totally blocked or too dangerous to allow traffic through, it’s safer to shut the lot down. It’s to be expected it will cause issues
@TashaaStarkeey A very thoughtful comment Tasha, that will mean a lot to lots of F/A officers. My own experience is not so good where I’m from as I’ve been ignored trying to give an ATMIST but that’s no reflection in general I’m sure 👍🏻
@chrisGUK87 @northumbriapol Do remember it’s a minimum of 12 years and then reviewed for potential release on license. You could of course request that the court of appeal reviews the case and sentences handed down, only takes one person to request it 👍🏻
@ChrisLeeTM @Foxtrot_Cop @brit_cop That he did and he also has a duty to protect the innocent motorist he stopped initially and any members of the public nearby! 👍🏻
@scoutnick @Foxtrot_Cop Have you any idea how many illegal firearms are in circulation that criminals have access to in this country?? You’d be very surprised what they can get their hands on!
@B7SSN @StaffsOpsInsp It has a variety of uses in certain circumstances as a less lethal option for AFOs and yes it can be used by specially trained officers in public order situations. These officers are the only ones other than AFOs to carry it and use it 👍🏻
I don’t normally share stuff like this but considering the past two years has prevented it, finally I got signed off. Thanks to all involved 😃👍🏻 https://t.co/TLIFq2g3AG
