Parmod - who was on @GMB below - is a truly lovely man, and his story is terribly sad.
He never received the compensation he deserved as Post Office pressured him into settling due to the unusual circumstances of his case.
We covered his story in April last year:
@SophyRidgeSky Criminal investigations and trials need to be held for both Post Office Management and the software manufacturer. This has potentially massive implications for any trials where evidence is solely provided by software.
Janet Skinner - wrongly accused of stealing £56k from the Post Office. Sent to the same prison as Rose West. Couldn’t face telling her two teenage children before she was sent down. Lost her home. Lost her health. Utterly heartbreaking 💔
I’ve just signed the petition to STOP the increase to the income requirement for family visas to £38,700
Most people in UK don’t make that per yr.
This policy punishes those who fall in love with someone with a different nationality. Boll**** to that!
