@BeeNetwork Hi Rachel, a quick question for metrolink - Did designers who designed the shelters at the metrolink stops give any consideration to rain and wind when designing those shelters, or the head of procurement checking if they were suitable for purpose before wasting money on them?
@BeeNetwork Yes, thank you, but a 25 minute wait in this weather is not good. Getting home to Failsworth from Rochdale by bus would have proven quicker, and this is not a one off, the Rochdale line is hit frequently with delays.
@BeeNetwork what is going on with the Rochdale line, currently at Rochdale Central, have been waiting 12 minutes already, and the next tram is showing as arriving in 13 minutes, thats a 25 minute wait between trams - not acceptable.
@BeeNetwork Will have been waiting 25 minutes for a tram at Rochdale in this freezing cold weather, why don't you let us use our tickets on the bus when there is such a long wait - metrolink doesnt give a monkeys about their customers or the poor service they deliver.
@BeeNetwork Tram from Rochdale Central to Manchester was a six minute wait four minutes ago, now showing as 16 minutes, why a 22 minute wait for a tram please.
On the tui flight from Dalaman, landed at 1.40am, still waiting for our luggage over an hour later, Swissport and Manchester Airport you are a disgrace.
@MCRMetrolink When is the next tram leaving Rochdale please as there is no time on the display just a message about delays - nothing on your Web page or on X either.
@MCRMetrolink This was 4 hours ago. The display at Rochdale Central has been saying the next tram is in 24 minutes, and it has been like that now for at least 5 minutes. Is there a team due anytime soon as it would be quicker to walk.
@MCRMetrolink From getting on the platform at Rochdale Central at 4.15pm to getting off the tram at Failsworth at 5.40pm, its taken 1 hour 25 minutes - not good. Absolutely disgusting service (as the norm recently).
@MCRMetrolink Delays are a regular occurrence between 4.00pm and 5.30pm on the Rochdale line, or is it simply that Metrolink do not have enough trams to service that line. Some evenings it taken over 90 minutes to arrive at Failsworth from getting actually on the platform at Rochdale.
@MCRMetrolink@CassieSibbs Can't remember a day when there were no delays on the Rochdale line, shocking service, give metrolink to an operator that can deliver a consistent decent service.
