On this 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we remember.

We remember the morning the sky changed. The towers that stood as symbols of work, of family, of ordinary Tuesday lives. The planes. The Pentagon. The field in Pennsylvania where courage met horror. Nearly three thousand lives taken—mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, friends, coworkers, first responders who ran toward the fire when others ran away.
To the families who still set an extra place at the table in their hearts: your grief is not forgotten. Twenty-five years have not made the empty chair smaller. The birthdays that come and go without them. The voices you still hear in quiet rooms. The children who grew up explaining a parent they barely knew. Your loss is not a date on a calendar. It is a lifetime.
To those who survived and still carry the dust in their lungs, the images behind their eyes, the guilt of living: you are seen. Healing is not linear. Some days faith holds. Some days it frays. Both are human.
Hope does not erase what happened. It does not pretend the wound is closed. Hope is the decision to keep living in a world that can be this cruel and still choose love anyway. It is the firefighter who still serves. The widow who still laughs with her grandchildren. The stranger who holds the door a little longer. The candle lit in a window.
Faith—whether in God, in each other, or in the stubborn goodness that refuses to die—does not answer every “why.” It simply refuses to let darkness have the last word. Many who died that day were people of faith. Many who remain still are. And many who lost everything still choose to believe that love is stronger than hate, that memory is a form of honor, and that we owe the dead a life worthy of their absence.
We remember them not only in silence, but in how we treat one another afterward.
May those who mourn be comforted.
May those who served be honored.
May those who were taken rest in peace.
And may we, the living, be worthy of the ordinary days they never got to finish.
Never forget.
Sincerely,
~ DREAM @JackMedia7

@Stu_Lyle Great article and very much on point ( excuse the pun ) .
As Primary weapons have evolved ..Fighting knives , pistols and combat axes it is , or maybe as it always was.
When former paratrooper and Tower of London Beefeater @Foxy2Para honks up your WhatsApp with an appalling pun on a Sunday morning. Please do give the team some support:
Next Saturday myself and some other “Rowman Warders” (see what I did there) are rowing 21.6 miles of the River Thames! 🥴
Should find out what happens when you put 6 former Warrant Officers on a boat 🤦♂️
We’re pretty pants, I’m not gonna lie, but we’re determined to raise some money for 4 charities close to our heart, MND, RNLI, Veterans Aid and The Ahoy Center.
If you can donate or share this link I’d be hugely appreciative, we’re some way off our target and may of been a little ambitious, but again, we’re determined. 🫶🏻

UK Commando Force’s Engineer Reconnaissance Troop (ERT) and Shore Reconnaissance Troop (SRT) have been testing specialist capabilities during a demanding exercise .
Understand the vulnerabilities. Strengthen resilience. Protect the Alliance.
This man, Ed Butler, was an outstanding Commanding Officer of 22 SAS and my boss there. He is experienced and with superb judgement. A great servant of the nation and its people, and in the most high pressure circumstances imaginable.
He should be listened to. This is not just an SAS issue, but a national issue.
