@bluevine After years of enjoying your service I can no longer login reliably. And when I try to reach support they want me to "login" to proceed to support. Uh, do you spot the trouble here? This has been ongoing for months. I'm starting to doubt my decision to use Bluevine.
@GeostatsGuy Very interesting @GeostatsGuy. The variograph is new to me and fascinating. I've spent tons of time on the Lake over the past 30 years (and own a small biz on the lake). So cool to see this for our own area, even if I'm not officially a student. Student for life I like to say.
@AppleSupport I’ve spent 2+ months trying to fix iMessage failure on my iPhone 14. Can’t send blue texts, missed important family & biz msgs. Multiple support chats/calls. No Genius Bar appt option. Loyal customer—need real help. #AppleSupport
@EconTalker I forgot who said it, but the higher you get in academia the lower the cost of being wrong.
Build a concrete bridge incorrectly and the consequences are ENORMOUS.
Spout some ridiculous theory about income inequality-get a Nobel.
Incentives mismatch.
@EliahOverbey my daughter is a HS junior here in ATX, strong math and interest in astronomy/space. Can we come visit??!!. Such a cool program. Enjoyed your intro video interview.
@ericweinstein I agree and have been complaining about it recently too. I think all the old sporty brands went for the volume which is in comfort and larger vehicles. That’s why we see Porsche, Alfa Romeo and Lamborghini SUVs. My Porsche 1982 911SC when I owned her in 1996 (photo).
I'm about 2/3 way through "Quantum Computing for the very curious." Fascinating in many ways, including the basic quantum knowledge and learning methodology for this complex topic! Great job @michael_nielsen & @andy_matuschak
