The NBL needs to get better with highlights and statistics if it wants to draw in more fans.

There are a lot of Australian NBA nerds that don’t watch the NBL at all.

It’s not just about attracting more casuals. I think there are basketball fanatics living in NBL cities that have never attended a game.

It starts with promoting players - not teams. Next Stars is a great example of it working.

More NBL individual player highlights. I think it’s crazy that I can type in an NBL next-star or draft prospect into YouTube, and can’t find any recent performances.
