5'5, 180 pounds. It was only a matter of time before @payteeles showed his pop. He goes opposite field for his first of the season and get us on the board. He is now 26-75 (.347) over last 21 games.

Billy this is Payton Eeles. He’s a great hitter and an above average fielder and currently the Twins #30 prospect. His defect? He played 4 years at a DII school and is 5’ 5”.

Payton Eeles was a super senior 24-year-old at Coastal Carolina where he hit .374 and 4 HRs in 63 games. He had previously played all four years of his collegiate ball at DII Cedarville University in Ohio. He stands 5’ 5” and went undrafted in last year's MLB draft.

He signed with the Twins as an undrafted prospect, and in his first MiLB season he moved all the way up to AAA where he was the St. Paul Saints everyday leadoff hitter.

He hit .299 with 8 HRs in 64 AAA games and I am DYING to know if he's in the Twins 2025 plans. One of the coolest stories in MiLB. Altuve-esque.
