One of my favorite features of The Week magazine is The Book List. Each week a different author selects six worthy books. Idea: have students emulate this. What 6 books (or movies, or video games...) do they recommend? Write 3-4 sentence blurbs for each.
RTI is not meant to be a life sentence. It's meant to operate like a hospital, where you get the treatment you need and are QUICKLY released. Think targeted triage, not hospice care.
