To my eye, this potato feels very humanoid in a stone age sculpture kind of way - Venus of Willendorf, Brodgar figurine echoes. Almost a shame to consume it.

Not doing too much critical stuff atm, but it's been a real pleasure recently to review Bill Findlay and Martin Bowman's Scots versions of Michel Tremblay @scotlit for 'Translation and Literature', which has long been a journal I've admired and learned from. 📚🙏
