Marks & Spencer just quietly reversed a policy it swore had nothing to do with the transgender controversy that sparked it.

The US attorney for DC was always one of the most important appointments in the administration, which is why the job was initially given to Ed Martin. That nomination failed because Thom Tillis is Thom Tillis, but I never understood how replacing him with Judge Jeanine was supposed to improve matters.

I fully understand how difficult it is to win cases before a deeply hostile DC jury pool, but that is not a reason to stop trying. More importantly, it is a reason to start thinking creatively about every lawful alternative. Refer appropriate cases for civil penalties or try to move the venue elsewhere, for example by looking at whether defendants traveled from Maryland, obtained materials in Virginia, conspired with people outside DC, etc.

Right now, it feels as though any reported crime with an anti-Trump motive leaves the defendant off scot-free by default.

Politico reports Republican veterans fear the young talent pipeline is drifting toward Nick Fuentes and the online far right.

Estimates of the scale run from negligible to 75 percent of Gen Z staffers, which tells you nobody has actually counted.

The frustration underneath is easier to trace.

That generation was promised mass deportations, no new wars, and American interests ahead of everyone else's.

It got an Iran war two-thirds of the country now calls a mistake, deportation totals short of target, and what it sees as a party more responsive to Israel than to voters at home.

Charlie Kirk's death left a vacuum in that space and Fuentes has taken much of it.

The bind for both parties is real.

Polling shows most young conservatives reject antisemitism while cooling sharply on Israel, so applying one label to both hands Fuentes his strongest recruiting pitch.

Nessel revealed she has already filed a 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭 within her own party after a Democratic official allegedly called her a neo-Nazi over her beliefs. The convention she's avoiding will finalize the state's Democratic Senate nominee, following a bruising primary that turned in part on Israel and antisemitism within the party's ranks.

This is the sitting attorney general of a major swing state, a Democrat in good standing, saying in public that her own party's activists make her feel unsafe enough to skip a party function because she's Jewish. Other Jewish Democrats have voiced sympathy, but sympathy isn't the same as fixing the problem.

- Males have higher bone density, wider shoulders, & typically longer reach.

- Males generally have larger hearts & lungs, contributing to higher aerobic capacity.
- Men have, on average, a 10–12% higher hemoglobin concentration, allowing the blood to carry more oxygen during exercise, which is why WNBA games & seasons are shorter than the NBA
- Males typically have a 15–20% higher VO₂ max than similarly trained females, improving endurance performance.
- Men have larger & stronger tendons & ligaments, allowing them to tolerate higher force production.
- Males typically possess larger skeletal frames, including bigger hands and feet, which can improve leverage & force generation in sports.

The fundamental task of all conservatives must be to dismantle the massive, unelected, bureaucratic federal Leviathan that literally controls our day to day lives.

The Founders never had any intent for the Executive Branch to house millions of unaccountable bureaucrats, nor did they intend for Congress to abdicate its law-making responsibilities in favor of "rule making" under the Administrative Procedure Act.

There are so many things that must be done to unravel this mess: eliminate public workers' unions, end or wholly amend the Administrative Procedure Act, gut the ability of the judiciary to force the executive to act where it chooses not to act on Constitutional grounds, eliminate unelected power in the ranks of groups like the Senior Executive Service, etc., etc.

But the MISSION first MUST be to restore the proper balance between the branches of the federal government and eliminate the overweening nanny state tyranny that has become an accepted norm.

But you know how NOT to do that?

The way NOT to do that is for conservatives to say "We need to get this power and use it for our own means."

Why is that bad?

Because the next time Democrats are in power, they will double down on their tyranny.

No, the only viable path for conservatives is to eliminate the structures that enable government tyranny and overreach.
