Francesca Hong was born to non-citizen immigrants. In other words, she has citizenship in the U.S. because she was born here when her parents were on student visas. And now she is running as a socialist in order to dismantle the American way of life.
Tell me more about how this isn’t a problem.
One of the funnest parts of birthright citizenship is illegals rarely ever pay ER bills so you get to pay for their new American baby on day one and your hospital bills and insurance continues to rise to make up the difference. Weeeeeeee!
imagine being a sentient black guy, having to put up with shitlibs and FOBs subverting an 1868 constitutional amendment written to protect freed slaves, listening to them spout cynical bullshit about how it actually applies to all brown people and also rich chinese tourists
As always, Courts that properly apply Bruen on hardware questions have concise, simple rulings.
Courts that try to undermine it have tortured logic that nobody really believes (not even the judges writing those opinions).
Contrast this straightforward approach that cleanly applies SCOTUS precedent with the nonsense the Ninth Circuit said in Duncan to claim magazines are not arms.
Chicagoans deserve so much better.
As Mayor I will focus on delivering a clean and safe transit system that residents and tourists can feel proud to ride. Police on our problem trains and stations, no-cheat turnstiles, no stench of weed/smoke, urine or feces.
In the meantime, if you know who this latest transit-puncher is, please help the police catch him and hold him accountable.
I mostly agree with this with the following caveat:
It might not be legal fraud to grab 1,000 ballots, mark your favorite candidate, and have a homeless person sign it with a smiley face
But it is a moral fraud because you've just disenfranchised 1000 voters who actually care about their vote, care about the results, care about their city
If that is what is happening (which seems likely) then it calls into question the very nature of representative democracy. Why do we even have a vote if the vote result isn't determined by individuals but by NGOs who can harvest as many votes as they want using these strategies?
A friend at a MidLaw firm recently told me he felt he couldn’t take paternity leave without upsetting the partners. He was planning to head back to the office two days after his wife gave birth.
My exact words: “If you show up for work two days after your wife has a baby and the partners don’t immediately send you home, run as far away as you can from that firm.”
We grind in law. I just worked a lot of the weekend on a deal with zero real urgency.
But there are lines. Becoming a parent is one of them. If your firm doesn’t treat it that way, there are 10 others that will.
Today, we remember a legend.
On this day in history, Harambe would have celebrated another birthday. An icon that became part of internet history, American culture, and an entire generation’s timeline.
Tomorrow marks 10 years since we lost him. Ten years since the moment the world stopped scrolling and collectively mourned something bigger than a meme.
He became a symbol of loyalty, strength, chaos, unity, and the strange beauty of the internet bringing millions of people together for one cause: never forgetting Harambe.
Everyone remembers where they were when they heard the news. And somehow, a decade later, his legacy still lives on.
Gone, but never forgotten.
Rest easy to a true patriot. 🕊️🇺🇸

Forever in our hearts.
@mattlindner Would slice off my left nut with a rusty spoon if it meant Susana was guaranteed to win. She would knock it out of the park way harder than alexi. Fuck that dude.
There is a reason this isn't being covered.
It's because no one wants to admit that the problem is that education has become dominated by left-wing activists and the strategies working to reverse this trend are coming from red states: https://t.co/yNadardDfN
