@BREATHEKolkata_ middle of the city. Behind pc chandra gardens, open air burning — as if our air wasn’t polluted enough. Can you please curb this ? @WBPCB @ABPNews @ttindia
Post Messi debacle, another ill planned event in Aquatica. Broken approach roads, no parking space, differently priced ticket holders clubbed in one section, low quality sound&more. No wonder no person of repute wants to visit Kolkata.@ABPNews@TourismWb@AITCofficial@BJP4Bengal
Even though Sheikh Hasina has built countless mosques and madrasas — in other words, jihadi factories — and ruined the country,
even though she destroyed the education system by making madrasa degrees equivalent to university degrees,
even though she allowed misogynistic jihadists to brainwash the youth through religious sermons,
even though she showed extreme cruelty by refusing to provide any security to free-thinkers despite knowing jihadi militants were brutally killing them,
even though three months after I returned from exile in January 1999 to be with my dying mother, she arranged for a case to be filed against me for “hurting religious sentiments” and drove me out of the country,
and even though she has never again allowed me to enter the country—never renewed my Bangladeshi passport and never granted me a Bangladeshi visa on my foreign passport,
even though she banned Amar Meyebela, my award-winning autobiography which won the Ananda Puraskar,
even though, on her orders, embassy officials refused to attest my power-of-attorney documents, causing me severe financial hardship,
I still stood by Sheikh Hasina in her darkest days. I strongly protested the farcical trial and death sentence passed on her in the name of justice.
What lesson should you take from this?
Protest against all forms of injustice — even if the injustice is done to your enemy, protest against that injustice too.

Dear @PrashantKishor : I want to congratulate you, as a fellow Bihari who cares for his state of Bihar, for being bold and gutsy enough to launch a political party and hit the grassroots, and provide an alternative political idea to change the lives of the people of Bihar.
Irrespective of the election results, a great effort by Jan Suraaj Party. I hope you stay the rough course. Indian politics needs more competitive experimentations. You must treat this as a semi-finals.
Good luck!

In another toilet the cleaner was drying his mop under the hand dryer. When we raised an objection he complained that this was the only way to dry his mop!! While cleaning he cordoned off the toilet using 4 bins and chemical containers
@KolkataPolice returning home late at night. Stopping at every red light while Kolkata Police vans and cars skip more than one signal and keep driving, leading by example? I see cabs follow them. Why are police vehicles not following traffic rules?
