@barnardos & didn’t apologise. I said I’ll take my donations to another charity in future then & left. We regularly donate a lot of goods to barnados, to the Derby store where we live, but sometimes they run out of space so we travel to Long Eaton to donate, not again! 2/2

@barnardos just taken donations to Long Eaton donation centre to be greeted with an annoyed look and “oh god, there’s more coming in!” Lady in front donating didn’t stay to give her giftaid details due to this. I spoke to the manager who said “well he IS a volunteer you know” 1/2

@daraobriain Shame that when giving toys that need batteries he didn’t remember to install the batteries first 🤦🏻‍♀️ using a very small very fiddly screwdriver (that was actually bent as well)
