@crownweather @MargaretOrr Correct. In addition, due to colder temps, pipes in the north run deeper underground. Florida was the example, because of its warmer climate, they do require such depth. I gather there are many variables, region, direction, the plumbing, soil type, how well the home was built

Hav Lil or no concern for Faucets frm pipes w/in interior walls they’re insulated
