The PM hasn’t even read the report which estimates a worst case scenario of 120,000 deaths in a second wave and recommends how to prevent it. This is a dangerous level of arrogance. The UK has one of the highest death tolls in the world and lessons must be learnt, fast #PMQs

[Welsh Labour @WelshLabour]

Every family in Wales has needed to make tough choices in the face of Coronavirus.

@MarkDrakeford hasn’t been immune to the decisions that he & the Welsh Government have taken to #KeepWalesSafe

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Parking will remain free at NHS hospitals in Wales.

🌹 Charges were a tax on ill health and an extra cost on hardworking staff - so your @WelshLabour Government scrapped them.

"Cruel" is losing a family member to Covid, or having your health permanently damaged by it, not having to cope without going to the pub for another week.

[The Labour Party @UKLabour]

This Sunday is an incredibly special day – the 72nd anniversary of our wonderful National Health Service. Aneira Thomas was the first baby born in the NHS and was named after its founder, Labour’s own Nye Bevan.

Thank you @NewportCouncil We thoroughly condemn the dumping of rubbish. It's a minority of people who dispose of their waste this way.

Thank you.

Moving letter from @MarcusRashford highlighting flaws with #UniversalCredit & calling out the UK Govt's failure to provide free school meals in England this summer.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿Fortunately in Wales our @WelshLabour Government is providing meals for our children through the summer.

❗️As the COVID-19 crisis means that I’m unable to meet constituents face-to-face, I’m holding surgeries over the phone and virtually for constituents who want to raise an issue or concern with me directly. ☎️

You can find the details on how to book an appointment here👇

Today is start of #CarersWeek which is an annual initiative to raise awareness of unpaid carers. It's great @WelshGovernment have announced an additional £50,000 to support them with their mental health during coronavirus - https://t.co/UXs6Jkv0hz

[Welsh Government @WelshGovernment]

We know social care roles take many forms, and they’re all incredibly valuable.

All care home staff will be eligible to receive our £500 extra payment for social care staff.

This includes kitchen and domestic staff, and personal assistants in individual’s homes.

[Vaughan Gething @vaughangething]

Strong words from @Keir_Starmer today on the #BlackLivesMatter movement and why it’s important for us all to join together, challenge racism, inequality and injustice wherever we find it.

[Jessica Morden MP @jessicamordenmp]

🗳Last night I voted against the 2nd reading of the Immigration Bill. As @NickTorfaen quite rightly pointed out from the front bench we can’t clap for carers every Thursday then call them low skilled and make them unwelcome the next Monday.

[John Griffiths @JGriffithsLab]

The @WelshLabour Government will not give Coronavirus bailout money to companies registered in tax havens.

Good businesses pay their fair share.

Many have contacted me asking what type of health conditions come under "extremely vulnerable" category in relation to #COVID19 . With help of @WelshGovernment I've put together this guide and what you should and shouldn't do if you come under this category. #StayHomeSaveLives

[Newport East Labour @NewportEastLab]

Coronavirus presents extraordinary challenges for the creative, cultural and sports industries in Wales.

In response, the @WelshLabour Government is delivering a package of measures to support the sector, safeguarding businesses and jobs.
