It felt like watching a seamless blend of a Nelson and Lokesh film.
The action set pieces were executed brilliantly, each one leaving a strong impact. At no point did it feel like the work of a debutant filmmaker, the confidence in the storytelling and staging was remarkable.

And that stretch leading into the interval block? That was the absolute “Silraya sethari vitten” moment for me !!

If you look at the basic structure of the latest release, The Furious, its pretty much the same story we’ve have been getting every year.

But what make this one special is its action choreography that too with two main lead against powerful villains!!

You’ll get the adrenaline rush whenever an action occurs and the distinct fighting styles given to each characters are excellent and visually stunning on the screen.

The action choreography in the climax sequence is on a whole other level!
The 5 eye shot was a master stroke!!!
A complete action packed entertainer that no action lover doesn’t want to miss from theatre.

I might even go for a second viewing to experience this spectacle again on the big screen.

Hail Hong Kong cinema! This is how action should be filmed!!

Balan is the kind of movie that is heavily performance driven and a huge shout out to Ganapathi for casting some amazing new talents. Jean Paul Lal was a revelation in his role.

Coming to another major performance i loved in this movie is from Tovino - kudos to him for choosing this script that doesn’t showcase him as the poster boy of the movie.

The movie starts off as a mysterious slow-burn drama in which the mystery part gets unfold as the story progress.
In the latter half the narrative gets little predictable but lands effectively with the score from sushin thats goes like “Kaattuppol ngotta…”

To sum it up, backed by a brilliant technical crew and strong performances, Balan is a worth watching for me!!

The title might be Drama, but as a viewer, I experienced plenty of thrills and chills. By ‘thriller,’ I don’t mean it in the conventional sense rather we never knew when or how each character would behave.

a completely different outing altogether!

I was pretty engaged for the first hour of the movie because I was curious about what was happening and what would come next. Once the central conflict was revealed, the pacing became a bit of an issue. It was Emily Blunt’s performance that kept me glued to the screen.

I also felt nostalgic listening to the movie’s score.
An old-school sci-fi thriller!

Mollywood Times is one of those movies where it’s hard to give a clear verdict like “good” or “bad”, but it’s definitely not bad.

The movie was quite engaging in the first half, and later it gave me the same trapped, claustrophobic feeling that Naslen’s character was going through.

The story then moves into a space that most people probably wouldn’t expect, before finally ending on a more conventional note. Really loved how @jakes_bejoy didnt played to the galleries with his score but gave what was needed for the movie. Anyone who has watched MUA can easily recognize @abhinavsnayak signature style throughout the film.

A pretty unique/bold attempt in this genre.

Karuppu falls into that mass commercial zone where we get a charming hero, a thumping background score, and eye-pleasing visuals put together effectively.

For a moment, I thought I was watching a Malayalam movie, and casting Anagha and Indrans in pivotal roles was spot on. They both did a commendable job.

It was nice to see @Suriya_offl go all ‘aruval’ blazing.

It might not be a great movie, but with @SaiAbhyankkar ‘s music, @dop_gkvishnu ’s powerful visuals, and the charismatic Suriya at the center of it all, Karuppu turns out to be a harmless entertainer.
