@ruskin147 I would suggest moving the sofa a little every day, or moving her bed closer to the open room space every day so she gradually gets used to being a little more exposed. However dogs need a safe space where they can go when they feel stressed, my super anxious rescue has got there

I have a nervous rescue who when he first lived with me would hide from everyone and everything! 3 years later he still.jumps at loud noises however he goes to meet people now and is my daily joy!
