We have seen the OHCHR’s remarks about today’s events in New Delhi.
India is the world’s largest democracy, where the right to peaceful assembly is guaranteed by our Constitution and safeguarded by robust institutions, an independent judiciary and a free media. As in every democracy, Indian citizens exercise this right subject to reasonable restrictions in the interest of public order. The authorities, for their part, act in accordance with the law, and our courts remain available to all for redressal of any grievances.
The OHCHR’s concerns are therefore misplaced and constitute an unwarranted interference in the internal affairs of India.
In this context, OHCHR would also do well to devote comparable attention to large-scale protests elsewhere, consistent with its mandate of impartiality and non-selectivity.

@BJP4India@RamVSatpute Please do something to educate truck drivers to drive on left lanes and keep fast lane (first from right) always empty for cars.
Superb job with infra. But with increased speeds increases risks of accidents.
@FedExHelpEU Hi.. I need to reschedule the delivery on a specific date as I am on holiday but I am unable to do so from the website. The delivery agent tried delivering for two days. I don’t want FedEx to try again tomorrow. Please suggest next steps.
@Fiido_eBike I ordered C11 on 26th April in The Netherlands from official website. It’s been 12 days now, still no sign of shipment or any updates related to it! No replies to emails as well. Not a good way to start with!
