Why is $MSOS crashing on the most fundamentally-bullish day in years?

Because the top holder of the ETF are derivative market makers (2nd pic).

Basically Jane Street buys a bunch of the ETF and then right before OpEX they sell a bunch of OTM calls and buy OTM puts, and then dump all their shares. Crushing calls, banking on puts. Should be illegal, India banned them for the same thing, but why would the SEC go after liquidity providers? You think they care about retail traders getting scammed? They don’t!

Anyways I put some data to it. Since 2022 there has been 47 monthly options expirations and 995 trading days.

Average daily return? 0.0%
Average return from Thursday to Friday during OpEx week? -2.8%
Longest streak of Thursday to Friday sell-offs during OpEX? 12 months in a row.

Once Jane Street and SIG scammed retail traders? Next 10 days are up 0.6% on average. Positive 2 week returns during a time period where the ETF fell -95%, lol.
