From everything I've read, the plan will be to "capture" the Strait of Hormuz - meaning put boots on the ground on both sides and turn it into the Panama Canal.

Which will escalate this fiasco from disaster into full blown clusterfuck. The next major casualties will not be on the Iran side. Leading to more troops and further escalation.

By the time things calm down weeks from now, global markets will be a smoking crater.
