@sopharicks (1) Works for some properties (e.g. metabolism) but not computational ones (a simulated calculator really calculates). Argument depends on what consciousness is.
(2) It only applies to sims. Many AI (e.g. LLM) don't sim a brain, just run computations, so no obvious real/sim gap.
@JASeagal@ricketty321 You asked for evidence that anyone from the IDF ran, tried (and failed) to show that Roy Oyron didn't run, and now admit that he DID run but not "for" the IDF.
He's holding up a flag for the Golani Brigade. There's just no use in denying it anymore.
@JASeagal@ricketty321 He's right here, pictured with a TCS no. 2120. They likely anonymised his name, which is why you can't find it. Posted 1 day ago. Translation confirms he ran.
@JASeagal@ricketty321 Roy Oyron's own post, Sydney. Dpt. commander in the IDF & officer of the Golani Brigade. Last year, the same brigade massacred 15 ambulance workers (at least 5 bound up and shot in the head) and bulldozed them into a mass grave. The IDF has confirmed this; you can search it up.
@DrMurgy A lot of emotion in this article and not much argument. Flanagan said that Bondi is not evidence of widespread Australian anti-semitism, which is just true. It was blatantly used to silence critics of Israel on universities and in protests and to support their propaganda machine
@freedom4iran_au Those Israelis included members of the Golani Brigade, who opened fire on ambulances and buried the bodies in mass graves. They are war criminals.
@OsherFeldman Did you get AI to write your propaganda for you?The speaker does specify a casualty figure: 20,000 children dead and 70,000 more. Why would the police issue a move on order? It's a registered and authorised public protest.
@ListenToLewko Very cool, Daniel. At least 21,000 children were slaughtered by Israel. Maybe your Zionist bootlicking will you more than 1.5% of the vote next time you run for parliament.
