I once asked Pastor Chuck Smith if he thought we would ever see another Jesus Movement.
“Greg,” he said, “I’m not sure if we’re desperate enough.”
That was awhile ago. And I think we now may be desperate enough to start seriously praying about it. https://t.co/S0Xy6F3fzM
What “color” were Adam and Eve?
Well, the same color as me and you—brown! We’re all the same basic color, brown, just different shades.
So what shade were Adam and Eve? Well, we can’t say for sure, but I suspect Adam had a middle-brown skin shade.
All humans have the same basic skin color, just different shades, because of a brownish pigment called melanin. To put it simplistically, if we have a lot of this pigment, we are a very dark shade. If we don’t have much of this pigment, we are a very light shade.
Adam and Eve were probably a middle brown with maximum genetic diversity to produce all the variety we see today.

The Judiciary committee passed my bill (HR 6824) requiring FBI to provide demographic data of persons ruled ineligible to purchase a firearm by the National Instant Criminal Background Check System.
False denials disproportionately affect racial and ethnic minorities.
DNA, the molecule of heredity, is an extremely complex information and language system. Matter cannot produce information or a language by chance random processes. An intelligence is required to produce information and produce a language system.
There are zillions of bits of information in living systems. Naturalistic processes could never produce life--let alone explain where matter came from in the first place. To believe in naturalistic evolution is to have a blind faith belief that lacks credulity.
DNA cries out, "In the beginning God created..." (Genesis 1:1).
“The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.””(Psalm 14:1)
John Gill in his commentary states concerning this verse:
"...persons void of common sense and understanding; but such who are fools in their morals, without understanding in spiritual things; wicked profligate wretches, apostates from God, alienated from the life of God; and whose hearts are full of blindness and ignorance, and whose conversations are vile and impure, and they enemies of righteousness, though full of all wicked subtlety and mischief: these say in their hearts, which are desperately wicked, and out of which evil thoughts proceed, pregnant with atheism and impiety; these endeavour to work themselves into such a belief, and inwardly to conclude, at least to wish,
though they do not express it with their mouths, yet they would fain persuade their hearts to deny the being of God; that so having no superior to whom they are accountable, they may go on in sin with impunity;"
.@49ers QB @BrockPurdy13 continues to do a great job as he leads the 49ers to the Super Bowl! Sunday’s 34-31 comeback win over the Detroit Lions was impressive but the thing that really makes him a winner in life is his bold faith in Jesus Christ. https://t.co/ysFuiXpKpK
The evidence is clear on this. A 20 year+ study on a county by county level proves that more concealed carry = less crime. Check out More Guns, Less Crime by John Lott.
They way I view it is simple: I make promises to people, and I am fully intent on following through with them.
I'm going to be willing to sacrifice whatever is in my own personal political interest to be able to deliver on those big promises.
Make no mistake: I am against the new spending deal for all the reasons conservatives oppose it. But all conservatives on and off Capitol Hill need to keep this in mind: As opposed to the past three Speakers who time and again cynically gave lip service to conservatives in order to get their support, and then summarily turned on them because they didn't mean a word they said, Mike Johnson is a time-tested full-throated conservative, a man of deep faith and firm commitment to fiscal restraint and a strong national defense. Let us be energetic in our debate and criticisms - yes. But he is one of us, and let no one forget that.
The liberal media and some political leaders around the world continue to call for a ceasefire and for Israel to stop its military operations against Hamas in Gaza. Has anyone thought of calling on Hamas to surrender, lay down their arms, and return every hostage—immediately? If they did this, the death and destruction of this war could cease. Hamas started this—by attacking Israel, murdering some 1200 Jews, and taking 240 people hostage on October 7—and Hamas could end it.
