‘If I Had Gone Into Fraud Or Drug Trafficking, I Might Have Been President By Now,’ Comedian Basketmouth Laments Decay Of Nigeria’s Political Culture Under APC https://t.co/4HOHn5pDTs
🗣️Thierry Henry: As someone who has proudly supported Lionel Messi for years, I never imagined I would be voicing out this, But what I have witnessed at the 2026 World Cup has left me disappointed, frustrated, and questioning the integrity of the tournament.
From my perspective, Argentina seemed to receive the benefit of crucial refereeing decisions. In the match between my country France against Paraguay, there were repeated rough challenges that, in my view, deserved yellow or even red cards, yet the referee chose not to act. Watching similar incidents from Argentine players go unpunished has made it difficult for me to believe that every team is being treated equally.
If winning a World Cup means leaving millions of fans questioning the fairness of the competition, then that victory loses part of its meaning. I’d rather see my team lose in a fair contest than win under a cloud of controversy and corruption.
The World Cup should be decided by talent, determination, and merit not by decisions that leave supporters around the world asking whether the playing field was truly level.

🚨 Michael Owen: "Argentina dont impress me, they got VERY LUCKY on the road to the World Cup semi-finals... Cape Verde, Egypt, Switzerland, and a lucky last-minute goal vs. England."
"They have also got away with cynical fouls which would have been a red for any other team."
No Sharia Law In Burkina Faso- Traore
“I am a Muslim, but everyone in Burkina Faso has the right to practice their own religion. There will never be Sharia law in this country.
“To those Burkinabè studying Sharia law in Saudi Arabia, do not return to Burkina Faso. Instead of acquiring technological knowledge and skills that can help develop our country, you chose to study Sharia law. Stay where you are, you won't be allowed back here- President Traore

🚨 BREAKING: Egypt FA have reportedly filed a lawsuit against FIFA, the match officials and the VAR team following their controversial World Cup defeat to Argentina.

🗣️Zlatan Ibrahimović:
I stopped supporting Argentina and Leo Messi after their match against Cape Verde and Egypt. The controversies surrounding their wining and trophies is much and need to be questioned.
I recently understood what Ronaldo fans have been saying all long and I suggest FIFA should stop now before it becomes too obvious and late, Argentina never won anything based o merit only C Ronaldo have won all without controversies.
Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest of all time and no one comes close to him.
The rot at FIFA has gone too far. Under Infantino, political greed has completely broken the game we love.
We can't just watch from the sidelines anymore, the FA and our European partners need to walk away and build a fair, clean alternative from scratch. It’s time to move on.
