Contacts in Gaza are all reporting the same thing tonight: Israeli air strikes have resumed at what feels like full force across the strip. The only reason anyone is still calling this a ceasefire is because not a single shot is being fired at Israel.
Look closely at the scene: a woman holds her infant in her arms, clutching what remains of her home in the other hand, with her little daughter behind her… a vivid image of endless suffering and a search for safety amid the rubble and destruction.
Citing an Italian who joined today’s strike in Italy:
‘We blocked Venice's port and so many others, free palestine 🇵🇸 not a nail will pass, not one container. We are doing it for you, we always think about you, you aren't forgotten’ 😭😭😭
Riots in Milan, near Central station, during the strike demonstration. Anger is spreading across the country over the genocide and the West’s inaction instead of trying to stop it
General strike in Italy for Palestine, here’s the amazing view from the top of Termini station in Rome. The people – not the government – stand for solidarity and justice
Mariam Dagga, 33, was a mother and a daughter. She gave her father her kidney. An Israeli airstrike took her life while she was documenting her people’s suffering. A soul the world will never forget. 💔
BREAKING: Protesters besiege the Israeli consulate in Houston (Texas)
The pro-Palestine demonstrators set up the Anas Al-Sharif encampment there & put out a call for others to do the same across the country:
“We call on our friends in Chicago, Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York City, San Francisco, Miami, D.C., and Boston—join us in shutting down every Zionist embassy in the country!”
this man (who's the HEADLINER of the reading & leeds festival) had his entire set completely censored from the festival's social media and was the only headliner BBC did not broadcast bc they knew he would be speaking about Palestine and awareness on stage later that day. yeah.
Anas Al-Sharif’s wife wrote:
“Sham is so attached to Anas that she doesn’t leave him during coverage. She looks for him everywhere, and when she hears his voice on the radio, she comes as if hearing it for the first time ❤️”
One day, Sham will stand behind the camera and carry on the path of her father, Anas.
just 10 days ago the UN's Special Rapporteur on freedom of expression said she was deeply worried about the genocidal Israeli death-cult's repeated threats against journalist Anas Al-Sharif. Just minutes ago they murdered him and his colleague. They planned the murder out in the open, and then killed him as the Western media class launders it all
