My artistic power has become too great. I create a private world of delight—all but impervious. A total art to please myself alone. A living state of art—of complete being. I am a sorceress. I cast a spell on me. I conjure my own reality. I make and unmake myself.
In early theater there were no actors, only guides. You weren’t a spectator you were an initiate. The innovation of actor is a shortcut. Instead of immersion in experience you watch an actor mimic spiritual crisis. Their counterfeit crisis is a vacuum that extracts your catharsis
This is why even the “best” actor performances must still be palpably fake to be effective….it creates suction. The suction of the actor’s fake crisis works on the spectator’s empathy & imagination to rapidly extract emotion, bypassing the need for long-winded, immersive ritual
Future scientists will open the floors in all my former homes, searching for any scrap of me fallen through the cracks, a nail piece or freckle of dry snot, any thing to clone me, anything to bring me back
The only way to “critique” a “toxic” social phenomenon with your art is to use the art to make the audience realize that they actually love everything about the toxic phenomenon and do NOT want it to change.
My death, my children, the woman I love, my art, my orgasms, becoming/remaining beautiful, my crimes, my body, the world—another day consumed by the same deafening obsessional thoughts
The CIA killed John Lennon for mentioning tantra ONCE in a song. Sting tried to normalize edging at great personal risk but I guess ya’ll aren’t ready for that conversation
My aim has become to make performance sacred again. Tonight we do the 179th performance of my play that only seats two people per show. We’ve been open since 10/12/23. What we’ve made is sacred, private, and totally unique. We removed the “crowd” & rediscovered our sacred purpose
I sense there may be someone out there who disapproves of my inner thoughts, so I will defiantly express those thoughts here, in the manner of someone remaining calm while defeating many enemies
We’re close to decoding dolphin speech using AI. If we do, we are opening a new chapter in understanding animal intelligence that’s never been achieved before.
