@bwrataj@CraigBaird Aye! My Grandfather, Captain R.S. Down fought in Operation Market Garden and Operation Tonga in his Dakota, out of RAF Blakehill Farm.
@CraigBaird Manu Forti!
~Clan MacKay
My paternal grandmother was from the Bain family, a sept of the MacKay Clan. I’ve been to the Highlands many times and always feel a wee bit at “hame” when I’m there. Our family is buried near Thurso.
@WhiteHouse With respect, Sir…you dropped an F bomb, called Iranians “b*stards” and said “Praise Allah” on the Holiest day of the Christian year.
Jesus wept for your lack of humility, profound language and message of harm. It was a complete lack of respect for the Day and God.
@CountDraculaDB I am more familiar with his 1st cousin, Vlad the Inhaler. He was a breath of fresh air after Voivode went a wee bit off the edge. Choked me up, but his cousin brought much needed relief.
@mech_aviation@DrNeilStone Das ist sehr traurig.
I don’t know, Bud. But I do know that 🇬🇧and 🇨🇦 were in the war before 🇺🇸. Also know that my Grampy flew in Operation Tonga and Operation Market Garden. He had his pilot licence. Mais, en Francais, un licence de pilot.
Danke. Thank you. Et merci.
@TomJHugh@RoyalFamily Correct. During the pandemic. Also a time of great strain. She provided comfort to a Nation under duress. I think we can agree that the world is in a state of chaos right now, non?
@davepl1968 You doubled down…..but your math isn’t mathing. How can you sample people alive at that time, who watched it, but are no longer with us?
Also, minimizing a collective traumatic event doesn’t make you smart, it makes you look bad. Consider the audience before you guestimate.
@IFBD1907@WhiteHouse Mais, il y a un Canadien dans la groupe :). So it wasn’t entirely correct. :). But we are very grateful for the opportunity to work alongside our neighbours/neighbors! Merci!
