That's the NIMBY's primary opposition to zoning reform. Their primary concern is keeping non-white people out of their neighbourhood.

To #StopAsianHate ,they have to first accept that NIMBY ideology stems from fear of "white replacement".

The focus on foreign buyers, foreign money, foreign workers, foreign anything, has always an outlet for NIMBY's resentment against the local Asian population. It's centred around yellow peril moral panic.

The focus has now shifted immigration.
