This 75 page transcript of Leanna Louie’s interview with the City Attorney is wild!!! I may need to do a commentary on this as I read it: https://t.co/1AjQk9Qs2B
A "Black family liaison" role at James Lick Middle School was meant to go to a Black school staffer—the school community even had a particular person in mind.
Instead, a controversial local Asian politico, Josephine Zhao, got the post.

.@MarjanPhilhour spent $300,000 blaming Connie for public safety but now in her candidate statement in the Richmond Review, admits Connie Chan does not oversee the police department or how they deploy their resources.
We agree with the @sfchronicle and the SF Bar Association, Judges Begert and Thompson are actually well-qualified and widely respected incumbents on San Francisco’s Superior Court. We were wrong in our initial judgements. Carry on.
This is super shady. Grow SF's "Voter Participation Department" website on a domain named https://t.co/BJzistVeaL.
It collects name, zip code, email, and phone number, and sends those to Grow SF, then just clicks through to the official state website.
Needs a malware check.
Jealousy toward the League of Pissed Off Voters – which just publishes a voter guide – is so tangible.
For years, the SF right has been desperately trying to duplicate it. Fake versions. Google ads. SEO to try to detract traffic.
They can't buy it. And it makes them so angry.
@agarwal So we should also get Scott Wiener out of office because he voted to pass this on the state level: https://t.co/YaAvPwd3AJ
All the sudden, you all don’t want to uphold laws? Be consistent and bring the same energy.
@ArmandDoma That’s funny because Scott Wiener voted in favor of this bill and I don’t see you telling people not to vote for him. Consistency is key, bring the same energy: https://t.co/YaAvPwd3AJ
@eyessfboe @lihanlihan I hope you and @JadeTu4SF are able to use your Chinese names. This wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for @emmaheiken. By the way, what made you change from the Republican Party to the Democratic Party?
The work of the SF redistricting task force has essentially eliminated Chinese representation on the board of supervisors in a city with 35% Chinese population if the Sunset district 4 election results hold. Talk about being anti-Chinese.
