Big Announcement: I’m excited to share we're partnering with @plutus – the UK-based fintech company that blends traditional banking services with crypto.
I’m proud to publish our latest guide on staking for passive income.

Note that Plutus itself does not offer crypto staking services. Instead, they're carving out a niche by dropping token rewards on everyday fiat currency spending through their debit card.
This collaboration underscores a shared mission: to make the financial world more accessible and rewarding for everyone.
Thanks to the Plutus team for their support in this venture!

Solana is halfway back to its all-time high: Don’t FOMO
Solana has been one of the best-performing digital assets this year. SOL has rallied about 500% since its $8 low last December – and has just officially recovered more than half its bear market losses.
From here, Solana would need to see a similar percentage gain to reclaim its previous all-time high of $260 (November 2021).
But now is not the time to FOMO in.
The 0.5 Fibonacci retracement level is important:
The 0.5 Fibonacci retracement level (blue line, in the chart) is usually a big profit-taking area for traders. Here, it represents the halfway mark back to Solana’s all-time high.
If you start to see Solana dip below this level in the coming days, it could be a sign of a bigger pullback ahead – perhaps to the 0.382 Fib level at around $30. That would also be a technical retest of its high in July.
If not, the 0.618 “golden Fibonacci” at around $69 is the next potential target. But given the downside risk right now, the upside reward potential doesn’t seem worth it to me.
If you already bought Solana when it was much lower down, and plan to hold it for the long run, that’s a different story.
But would I buy it here personally? Absolutely not.
When a coin is in a raging bull market, you buy the dips. Not the rips.

Why $38,000 Is A Big Level For Bitcoin
The bitcoin price reached as high as $38,000 last week. But since then, the rally has lost some steam. And that might be because the $38,000 region is a major bitcoin price target for technical traders.
So in this piece, I've explained why that is – along with some potential scenarios for bitcoin in the coming months (good or bad).

What's a better investment right now, Ethereum or bitcoin?
Bitcoin is up about 120% this year, while Ethereum is “only” up 70%. But over the past 3 weeks, Ethereum has started to steal bitcoin’s thunder – beating it by about 7%.
This begs the question: Ethereum vs bitcoin, which is better bang for your buck right now?
So in this article, I’ve compared them based on 3 key criteria:
1️⃣ Ethereum vs bitcoin price chart (ETHBTC)
2️⃣ Upside potential before the next major pullback
3️⃣ Ethereum vs bitcoin in the current market environment

Bitcoin is finite, so it tends to do well when central banks increase the global money supply. When there’s more currency sloshing about, it allows investors to take bigger risks. So, they buy more bitcoin. This also makes bitcoin a hedge against currency debasement.
The chart below shows bitcoin’s growth (yellow) vs the global M2 money supply (blue). Notice how bitcoin’s past three bear markets have generally coincided with decreases (red) in global M2, and the bull markets have generally coincided with increases (green) in global M2.
Also, notice how global M2 has trended higher this year (although not in a straight line) – along with bitcoin’s price.

Coinbase Breakout Level: 3rd Time Lucky For COIN?
Coinbase (COIN) has been a key beneficiary of this year’s crypto rally – with the stock price up over 200% off its lows.
But for all its strength, it’s struggled to crack through the $100 ceiling. With the stock ending last week at $99.05, this will now be its 3rd attempt (grey circle, in the chart).
So, is a Coinbase breakout now in the cards?

Is Binance’s BNB Coin About To Jump Over Its Legal Hurdles?
Binance (the world’s biggest crypto exchange) is in talks with the US Department of Justice (DoJ) to settle a year-long criminal investigation by paying over $4 billion in fines. That’s a lot of money, but Binance can probably afford to fork it out.
In light of this, here's a post with some thoughts on the BNB price chart over the longer term 👇

Mutual Funds or ETFs: Which Is The Better Option?
Mutual funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) each let you own a mix of investments – without having to buy lots of investments at once. This makes both of them great options for diversification.
But which is the better option for investors?
In this article, I've tried to answer that question by comparing ETFs and mutual funds based on 3 criteria: cost, investment flexibility, and tax efficiency.

Is Coinbase a Good Investment?
Last Thursday, Coinbase released its Q3 earnings report. I’ve gone through it with a fine tooth comb to see if Coinbase might be a good investment right now. Here’s what I found:
https://t.co/g3LTn6tk4U
#coinbase#coin#bitcoinetf
This chart shows two ways that Coinbase (#COIN) has earned revenue since its shares were first listed on the Nasdaq.
1) Trading fees from customers (blue bars).
2) Everything else (yellow bars).
Trading fees have dropped significantly since 2021.
But the “everything else” bit has trended higher over the past 3 years.
This represents subscription and service revenue on the company’s books.
It includes things like custodial fees, interest income, stablecoin revenue, and blockchain rewards.
Lately, "everything else" counts for about half of Coinbase’s net revenue.
Diversified income streams.

“Cash is king” is a popular saying in investing.
The idea is that cash gives you the resources to buy cheap investments – which could pay off over time.
This chart shows why that might be true when investing in bitcoin.

Long Bitcoin, Short The Banks? Not So fast…
The SPDR S&P Bank ETF (KBE) is an exchange-traded fund that invests in American banks and other financial services companies. KBE is so far down over 20% this year, while bitcoin is up over 100%.
As you’d expect, cries to “long bitcoin, short the banks” have now grown louder. But if you’re a long-term investor trying to build a diversified portfolio, this chart might suggest a different view: to buy them both.
The chart tracks the 12-month rolling correlation between bitcoin and KBE since 2014. A correlation near +1 means they move together; near -1 means they move opposite. Right now? It's close to zero, indicating no clear relationship.
There’s no point in owning different investments in your portfolio if they do the same thing most of the time. If one goes down, the other one would probably go down too, which defeats the whole point of diversification.
But as these correlations suggest, bitcoin and banks don’t always have such a good relationship. And that’s exactly why they could work well together in a diversified portfolio.

Beware The Bitcoin ETF Launch Date
The bitcoin price made a fresh yearly high yesterday of around $35,000. This came as more investors expect the first physically-backed bitcoin ETF (exchange-traded fund) to be approved by the US regulator.
We don’t know exactly when it will be approved, but it could be anything from a few days to a few months out. Yet, bitcoin’s recent rally suggests an ETF approval might come sooner rather than later.
A physically-backed (spot) bitcoin ETF would allow institutions to buy and hold bitcoin in a familiar wrapper that trades on the US stock market. This means they wouldn’t have to store bitcoin, which would go down a lot better with their compliance departments. The ETF would be the final seal of approval from the US Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) on bitcoin.
In the long run, an ETF could lead to much more capital flowing into bitcoin. Not just from big institutions, but from retail investors who aren’t as comfortable with crypto exchanges, hardware wallets, and private keys.
Unlike a bitcoin futures ETF, a spot bitcoin ETF would buy actual bitcoin 1:1 when investors buy shares in the ETF. So with spot bitcoin ETFs trading on the stock market, demand for actual bitcoin could go up in a big way.
But beware the bitcoin ETF launch date.
On November 18, 2004, the first gold ETF started trading on the US stock market – the SPDR Gold Shares (GLD). Notice in the chart how the gold price rallied leading into the event. The “smart money” bought gold in the weeks and months before the ETF launch. Not straight after it.
In other words, they bought the rumour and sold the news.
Will the same thing happen if and when a bitcoin ETF is approved? I don’t know, but it's definitely something to keep in mind.
