@ChivalryGuild I get a blend of 1lb beef liver to 4lbs ground beef from my butcher shop. Basically an 80/20 blend split into 1lb portions. It’s been great. Use it for my meal prep bowls. Haven’t asked about heart but they jokingly said they may start calling it the Strong Blend!! 🤣

@cmspet Fruit, veggies (all cut & prepped by myself) each week. My 13 year old actually prefers that now to the shit snacks we used to buy.

I feed a family of 3, 2-3 meals a day each (we meal prep) for $200/week. So figure $65/person.

@financedystop Nice work! If you don’t mind basic ingredients and are good cookin’ and chef’n, it’s attainable. I buy a lot in bulk & feed a fam of 3 (3 meals/day) for ~$250/week. Thats using local protein source and high quality beef so slightly more $ than your run of the mill grocer price.
