They don't want you to know there is a PoW out there that has an insane ceiling.

How kaspa:native retunes every 100 milliseconds

The job

Ten blocks a second only holds if difficulty moves with hashrate. If the target is stale, blocks bunch or stall. Kaspa retunes the target about every 100 milliseconds so the clock stays at 10 BPS.

Before Crescendo, the node inspected a full window of 2,641 blocks, about 44 minutes at 1 BPS, and did that work every block. At 10 BPS that window would be 26,410 blocks. Too heavy.

KIP-4 switched to a sampled window. Same 2,641 seconds of history. Blocks sampled about every 4 seconds by DAA score. About 661 samples. Same duration. Less work per block.

The miner writes bits and daaScore. bits is the compact target. daaScore is the network’s second-counter for monetary months and for the sample window. Nodes recompute both. They do not trust the miner.

Why it matters: Emission is per second. Difficulty is per second. Block rate can change without rewriting money. Crescendo multiplied blocks by 10 and divided per-block subsidy by 10. The DAA kept the same wall-clock window.

So, kaspa:native does not wait a week to notice hashrate.

It samples the last 2,641 seconds, every tenth of a second, and keeps 10 BPS as a rule. Consistency.

I may have found my next rabbit hole:

Optional privacy for native KAS.

No new token. No custodian. Just exploring whether a trustless shielded KAS protocol can be built on Kaspa.

More soon. 👀

The year is 2020, everyone is scared but governments have to print trillions to keep the global economy afloat.. you look at the thing that can’t be printed, bitcoin and its $5,000 so you buy some

The year is 2026 the evidence of all the printing is strong, home prices, gas prices, flight prices, education prices, food prices are all up like crazy

Bitcoin is sitting at $80,000 calming doing what it was designed to do, protecting you from that printer, you’re much wealthier than you were before

Now… The year is 2026, everyone is frustrated that nothing is affordable but governments has to print trillions to keep the global economy afloat.. you look at the thing that can’t be printed, bitcoin and its $80,000 so you buy some….

We will revisit this tweet in 2029

#belgie

Another great one is kaspa:native.

This one signaled a bottom was happening at the low, as there was a strong bullish divergence in play.

Since then: continuation with higher highs, higher lows and constant flips of the levels.

I don't think that this will stop soon, especially if this takes out the recent high, the next target for me is $0.0743.

This will go down not just as the most shameful day for @binance, but one of the darkest moments in all of crypto history.

Dr. Yonatan Sompolinsky of Kaspa won the Independent Researcher category.
He earned it. The community voted for him. His message shook the industry.

And yet on stage… he was silenced. Censored. Erased.

First place was publicly handed to the runner-up while the actual winner was never even mentioned.

Yonatan’s response on X has nearly matched the views of Binance’s original post featuring Saylor and CZ but at the ceremony, he was treated as if he didn’t exist.

This is how cypherpunk voices are punished in 2025. This is what happens when truth threatens the casino.

Remember this moment. History will.

[Kaspa Daily @DailyKaspa]

What happened with Yonatan Sompolinsky at the Binance Awards is honestly hard to ignore.

He won the Independent Researcher category. The community voted for him. His contribution to blockchain research is undeniable. His follow-up post addressing Binance pulled in almost 3 million views.

And yet at the actual ceremony… he was completely left out.
No mention. No acknowledgement. The award was handed to the runner-up as if the real winner didn’t exist.

Binance hasn’t responded to him, hasn’t clarified the situation, hasn’t even shown the basic respect of addressing a message from the person who actually won their award.

At this point it feels clear: Binance cares about one thing - the flow of money. The rest, including independent researchers who push the industry forward, seems secondary at best.

You don’t have to be a Kaspa supporter to see how wrong this is.
Crypto was supposed to be about decentralisation, transparency, and giving real builders a voice. What happened here is the opposite.

People will remember this moment because it showed exactly where @binance priorities lie and how easily honest voices get pushed aside when they don’t fit the narrative.

Women entering the workforce has completely destroyed quality of life for Americans

1. Two incomes became the new one income.
Once everyone had to work, employers and banks raised prices. Houses doubled. Families didn’t get ahead. They just ran harder to stay in place.

2. Kids got raised by institutions instead of parents.
Daycare replaces bonding. Schools replace values. Screens replace discipline. Then everyone wonders why kids are anxious and disconnected.

3. Communities disappeared.
If both parents work all day, nobody is home. No neighborhood stability. No local support. Just isolated families worn out from the grind.

4. Stress shot through the roof.
Two commutes, two schedules, no downtime, constant rushing. Marriages crack under nonstop exhaustion.

5. Divorce became the easy option.
Two incomes make it simple to leave instead of fix problems. The family foundation got weaker.

6. Birthrates collapsed.
If both parents are working 50 hours a week, having more than one or two kids is almost impossible. Entire generations are shrinking.

7. Government filled the void.
When no one is home, institutions step in. Schools. Daycare. After school programs. Healthcare systems. Government support. Weak homes create more state dependence.

8. Men lost purpose.
A man’s historical role to build, protect, and provide got diluted. Many men checked out. Society suffers when men have nothing to fight for.

9. Women were sold a false dream.
They were told a career and a boss would make them happier than raising their children or building a family. Now we have record levels of burnout, depression, and regret.

10. Families turned into roommates.
Everyone works. Everyone is tired. No one has energy for each other. The home stopped being a team and became a collection of exhausted individuals.

@binance,

Thanks for including me in the top 100 blockchain people list, appreciate the signal!

I must decline the Dubai invite though. I do not wish to disrespect, but many of the award voters are avid kaspians who rooted for my kaspa status at least as much as for my research. Let them win or count me out.

Crypto has turned from a euphoric cypherpunk project to a house-friendly casino. You may not be the culprit, but as a top player you hold the lion’s share of the responsibility to correct this, and the October crash your USDe oracle glitch helped trigger adds to what needs to be addressed.

There are three classes of crypto, as @mert put it recently: commercial crypto, casino crypto, cypherpunk crypto. <<Binance should hold a privilege policy for the latter.>> A TBTF CEX should know better and play a different game with hardcore crypto projects.

When binance lists a green frog three weeks post its “launch” but skips a fair-launched-Nakamoto-Consensus-100ms-upgrade-ATH-top-20-the-only-nonbitcoin-marathon-mined project, this is not merely binance rationally calculating; it is also binance molding the market in a way that is alas misaligned with the roots of the movement.

You may feel that kaspa’s sovereign money thesis is boring – that bitcoin is already money and that implementing an internet-speed bitcoin is useless - fine. Wrong but fine. But what’s the thesis for the green frog?

Money is a classic chicken-and-egg product. It is a scam up until one moment before tipping point, “most of the value comes from the value that others place in it.” Considering your resources and influence, I think it's safe to say you can serve as both the egg and the chicken and make it worth your while to push sound attempts towards tipping point.

@cz_binance tweeted recently that “strong projects will be listed.” But binance is part of what defines "strong", it bears responsibility for the market’s compass and impulse and definition of strong. It is not a read-only entity.

Binance listing fees are legit, they are just unfit for category cypherpunk. Kaspa devs and early supporters fairly mined less than half what satoshi and hals mined. We don’t have a 20% ZEC-style founders’ reward or protocol-enforced dev fund; this is not a jab at ZEC and the wonderful @Zooko, who was crashing in my car on a late Thursday back in the low ZEC MC days – if somebody deserves to win it is zooko – but assuming binance is not taking a maxi bet, it should revisit its relationship with hardcore crypto.

We are here through bull and bear, ICOs NFTs XYZs; and we are the source of confidence that restores faith and capital inflow post meme-induced or CEX-induced crashes.

Please fix this.

Thanks again,
hashdag

An Open Letter to @binance

Dear Binance Team,

First of all, I want to acknowledge the positive impact you’ve had on the crypto world. Binance helped bring accessibility, liquidity, and exposure to millions of users globally. But with great power comes great responsibility, and it’s time to address the growing disconnect between the crypto dream and the crypto reality.

Crypto started as a cypherpunk vision, a rebellion against centralization, censorship, and control. Today, it feels more like a casino: fast listings, influencer-driven pumps and liquidity extractions. Everyone around me sees crypto as a joke, a gamble, pure chaos. There’s been a clear shift from the cypherpunk ideology that started it all to the digital wilderness that crypto has become today. You’re not the only reason for this shift, but as the largest exchange in the world, you are undeniably one of the strongest forces shaping it.

When Binance lists meme coins with no intrinsic value within days of launch, yet leaves truly decentralized, Proof-of-Work, fair-launched projects like Kaspa out of the equation, it doesn’t just look like market manipulation, it empowers scammers, allowing them to drain liquidity, grow stronger, and repeat the cycle. These aren’t minor side effects, they trigger a cascade of consequences that erode trust and destroy the very essence of what crypto was meant to be.

Kaspa isn’t just another token. It’s a living, breathing evolution of Bitcoin’s original design, fair, decentralized, and fast, without pre-mines or VC injections. It represents the cypherpunk spirit that started this entire movement. Ignoring projects like Kaspa while promoting speculative noise sends a message: that what matters is not what’s built, but what trends.

Crypto doesn’t need more noise. It needs clarity. It needs systems that last.

@hashdag recently wrote about the three faces of crypto: commercial, casino, and cypherpunk. It’s time for Binance to decide which of these it wants to empower. You’ve already mastered the first two, now, it’s time to give back to the third, the one that made all of this possible.

As a leader in the space, Binance holds the power to shape the future of crypto, for better or for worse. I truly hope to see changes that protect the long-term mission of this industry. You can keep feeding the monster that’s been created, or you can choose to restore credibility, innovation, and belief in what crypto was meant to stand for.

Crypto deserves better. Builders deserve better. And you, with all your reach, resources, and influence, can help fix this.

I’m going to take the liberty and repost the brilliant creator of $KAS, my friend (and idol) Yoni @hashdag’s letter to @Binance here for visibility.

I found myself nodding and screaming “yes” “exactly” at every sentence. Before you flame me, yes I work for a platform @UpholdInc and I’m proud of that. I try to keep the OG crypto embers burning inside a system that has changed the value and ethics proposition. Yes, we are all guilty in some way or other of perverting the original crypto spirit, and not all elements of OG cyberpunk were good, reasonable, morally acceptable or even realistic. But Yoni’s letter deserves more attention. I’m going to handwrite it in ink and hang it on my wall.

(For the younger readers: handwriting is an old form of “texting” when you use a pen, pencil or other implement to draw letters on a medium such as paper using only your fingers and your own brain. See https://t.co/8Jws3rXOs5)

Here it the letter. It’s the crypto version of Jean-Paul Sartre rejecting the Nobel in 1964.
