@model_daughters Why would they reveal it before the final drop-out deadline, giving Dems an opportunity to replace Platner? They're announcing irrefutable proof he's the Zodiac Killer as soon as Dems can't replace him anymore.
@kaliphear@StatisticUrban "Best" in the original tweet refers to electoral performance, not policy. Roy Cooper is by far the most likely person to win that seat.
@SamGradyWrites@Wilson__Valdez Graham Platner will definitely win the primary. This does not mean he will be the nominee. If he is, I would want him to win. I believe him being the nominee decreases Democrats' chances of winning the race.
@MizDonna69 The fund is unpopular, so voting in favor of it is unpopular. Voting against it helps brand them as moderate/independent-minded Republicans. Any Republican who goes into this election branding himself as Donald Trump's loyal soldier is going to lose.
@Nadal19772@_Jason_Dean_ He didn't risk his life "for America", he risked his life so he could experience the thrill of killing. He talks about it at length in his Reddit posts.
@phZander@ICCCYY@keepaustinnasty@AnthonyMEmerson@Ericrse37986 He was a glorified night guard when he went with Blackwater in 2018. When he went with the Marines he saw combat (and loved it!). If I had to guess, his dissatisfaction with the lack of killing in his private deployment played a role in his "radicalization".
@joysulz@NickyFrank30@BeshearStan@Kerryist04 It's the standard for being "like Osborn". You can't uncouple Osborn's overperformance from the fact that he certain takes positions way to the right of the average Democrat.
@lordthx1139@ventasino@greggnunziata Republicans had a trifecta in 2021, which is when the current lines were drawn. The map was made by Republicans, they have only themselves to blame for not having any seats in the state.
@lordthx1139@ventasino@greggnunziata ME's 2nd district has voted red 3 times in a row in presidential elections. But the Democratic candidate is competent, whereas the Republican ones aren't, so Ds win the seat. Rs have had a trifecta in NH for a long time, the current map is literally a Republican gerrymander.
@JohnBrownFan59@wifesmoocher@stancyhater This doesn't practically compromise the vegan position (obviously pigs are more similar to humans than sponges), but surely the line of "sentient enough" vs "not" doesn't perfectly match the animal kingdom. Is there anything more wrong about eating a sea sponge than a plant?
@groypersixseven@davidshor@BarneyFlames Not even close. There are several majority-minority seats in blue states that are D + 30 or more and could easily be cracked to take out red districts (now that maj-min districts don't seem to be mandatory in any capacity). It's a matter of will.
@GoneZal@remaininl1ght@its_hipolita If there was no one on the land before them, they would have a just claim to the land. The whole problem is the ethnic cleansing of the native population. How is this situation analogous to the Falklands at all?
