Been in crypto for now close to 8 years, Had massive runs, massive drawdowns, made money on many ALTs.
If I'm honest, BTC was the only one worth holding, yes some assets have performed better at a specific time.
But globally I would say only btc as passed the investment test

This has been a hard decision;
Been in $EGLD since erd: "to significantly accelerate all technologies and radically improve society, humanity will have to migrate to a post scarcity world, elrond is the first complete solution that will attempt and achieve this." this still resonates with my younger self
Price didn't matter fundamentals did.
I've had an amazing time when we all thought that egld had no limits.
I'd like to say one thing, despite the core team, for me committing suicide here.
EGLD team has been hard at work forever: many years even before ERD genesis launch, like us, they doubled down on there EGLD investment and have slowly seen it fade away. It's always easy to point fingers and blame all that has happened on one event.
Did this project fail ? Yes
does the team have responsibility for this failure ? Yes.
A lot of good products never find their place.
Was it as scam? No.
EGLD was my first investment that turned over 7 figures, i watched it go back down. lesson learned 😅
what make me sad is seeing such a good project go under by its own doing.
its so sad i feel the need to write about it to the community 😭
so, why sell now ? despite Years of us Falling down, the Ethos behind EGLD remained strong. seeing the team building/attempting/failing was nothing new a this stage: and they should not be blamed for every failure either.
However; the sudden unwarranted economic shift has given me huge 🚩🚩🚩
I hope I am wrong and somehow #EGLD will recover.
The trust has been broken, and what was set in stone is no longer.
i will be unstaking & Exiting.
Hope to join the community again some day
