@HornetsReddit@BillSimmons Have they watched Naz Reid rebound? Or play defense, or dribble ? He makes some shots and can space the floor for a big but he doesn't do enough things on the court to get paid what he does
@pwfree23 100% steals.....
If the youth continues to play the way youth coaches are teaching, as they get older they will get back cut to death as well as beaten on the press
But since kids aren't strong enough or have the IQ yet, you can always find defenses that will manufacture steals
We talked to nearly 100 people about youth sports in New Jersey and found a predatory industry that is leaving parents broke, exhausted and wondering how the games of their childhood took over their adult lives. Our six-month investigation: https://t.co/plE3w618qt
Tim Connelly on emotional maturity, basketball IQ and toughness being things the Wolves need to add or develop more internally.
"If we can't improve internally, then we don't have the right people in the building. So I think we have to hold these guys to incredibly high standards... I think moving forward, emotional maturity is certainly something we talked about consistently... And then, certainly, basketball IQ and toughness are two attributes we're going to look for to continue to augment the core group."
@streethistory Randle has never had a consistent mindset offensively.... Ant already is a ball stopper who likes to dance before feeling out the defense, then it gets to Randle and he likes to get tunnel vision and hold the ball too
These top teams initiate offense so much easier than wolves
Chris Finch's biggest failure this season was getting this team to have self awareness.
Self awareness that taking on the best teams in the NBA with zero ball movement is sustainable for winning anything meaningful.
Time and time again the shot selection never changed
Minnesota now has 130 combined seasons without even a championship game appearance!
They have gone to the playoffs 57 times in those seasons without making it to a finals/championship.
Twins 10
Vikings 17
Wolves 14
Wild 15
North Stars 1
@JonKrawczynski How can the wolves strategically get better looks more consistently... seems like a lot of difficult shots that are taken (perhaps credit to SA?) meanwhile the Spurs get some great looks outside of a few tough ones from Fox here and there
