Attemped Skyjacking over Wisconsin last night aboard a United Airlines 737. ATC audio describes that a passenger tried to breach the cockpit several times. Luckily there were 5 Law Enforcement Officers onboard. The Captain of the flight said the skyjacker was seated in between two FBI Agents when the flight landed at Madison.

Just heard a wild rumor from someone I trust that works at JPM.

The buzz is that Trump has been exploring ways to force Vice President Vance out of office. He cannot fire him legally. Unless Vance resigns, the only way for him to be removed is to be impeached by the House with 2/3rds Senate voting to remove!

What if your 401K's actually had nothing in them? Oh, yeah the numbers show everything that should be in there. But, what about the actual cash itself? What if they were raided to buy a bunch of AI related things that have now crashed and all that money is gone? There’s growing chatter that Spirit Airlines may not have CASH to make payroll on Jan 15.

Unconfirmed…. but the signals are pretty darn ugly.

Here’s what is confirmed 👇

• Spirit pilots (ALPA) just sent an open letter to bondholders
• They’re publicly urging Citadel and others to release committed funding
• Translation: liquidity is tight right now
• This comes days before payroll
• And after Spirit had to offer 100% premium pay on Christmas to cover mass sick calls

I will say many pilots aren’t quite buying it… but I’m not as sure.

In Chapter 11, you don’t beg bondholders. If bondholders withhold funding:

→ liquidation
→ 15,000 jobs gone
→ Spirit ceases?

I have tried and failed for a decade to capture this view in #Pittsburgh, and this morning I was finally able to. In this scene, the Duquesne Incline passes above the train tracks right as a Norfolk Southern train was going underneath it. Can't believe my luck that it worked out.
