@JonGalt14 @The3D_ @BitcoinErrorLog @CoinList @AaveAave RenBTC, tBTC also taxable. Depositing anything to Aave is also taxable, because you get an aToken in return. Both are considered exchanges.
Basically the only thing that isn't taxable is depositing to something like Blockfi or Celsius because you don't get a token in return.

@BennySher @longhorncapital True. I wonder what ended up happening though. Sounds like he didn't close out of the trade that day. CLK20 was at over $10 the next day (after options expiry). 212 contracts, average $8 profit is $1.7million if IB didn't sell it at a negative price!

@chigrl @JobSpetter TDA called me today and told me I had to close my $CL_F option spreads or they would be liquidated. The guy on the phone seemed to think it was ridiculous. He put me on hold and talked to his boss, and then came back and said "They just want everyone out of these products".
