Jeremiah 30:19 KJV
"And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small".

Private equity is when wealthy individuals or investment firms buy companies that are not publicly traded on the stock market, improve them, and later sell them for a profit.
Here's a simple example:
Imagine a bakery is worth ā¦10 million, but it is poorly managed.
A private equity firm buys the bakery.
They hire better managers, expand to more locations, reduce unnecessary costs, and increase profits.
Five years later, the bakery is worth ā¦50 million.
The firm sells it and makes a profit.
Think of it like this:
Private equity is like buying an old house, renovating it to make it more valuable, and then selling it at a higher price.
The difference is that instead of houses, private equity firms buy and improve businesses.
The $1M conversation on Nigerian Twitter is funny because the first thing you should do when you come into money in bulk is to leave it. Pretend it doesn't exist for at least 3 months. Never jump into investing in anything you don't know very well. I am talking from experience.
For my first five years in corporate America I had no promotion.
Then in my next five, I had three.
Same me. Same company. Different results.
What changed? š
A Norwegian neuroscientist spent 20 years proving that the act of writing by hand changes the human brain in ways typing physically cannot, and almost nobody outside her field has read the paper.
Her name is Audrey van der Meer.
She runs a brain research lab in Trondheim, and the paper that closed the argument was published in 2024 in a journal called Frontiers in Psychology. The finding is brutal enough that it should have changed every classroom on Earth.
The experiment was simple. She recruited 36 university students and put each one in a cap with 256 sensors pressed against their scalp to record brain activity. Words flashed on a screen one at a time.
Sometimes the students wrote the word by hand on a touchscreen using a digital pen, and sometimes they typed the same word on a keyboard. Every neural response was recorded for the full five seconds the word stayed on screen.
Then her team looked at the part of the data most researchers had ignored for years, which is how different parts of the brain were communicating with each other during the task.
When the students wrote by hand, the brain lit up everywhere at once.
The regions responsible for memory, sensory integration, and the encoding of new information were all firing together in a coordinated pattern that spread across the entire cortex. The whole network was awake and connected.
When the same students typed the same word, that pattern collapsed almost completely.
Most of the brain went quiet, and the connections between regions that had been alive seconds earlier were nowhere to be found on the EEG.
Same word, same brain, same person, and two completely different neurological events.
The reason turned out to be something nobody had really paid attention to before her work. Writing by hand is not one motion but a sequence of thousands of tiny micro-movements coordinated with your eyes in real time, where each letter is a different shape that requires the brain to solve a slightly different spatial problem.
Your fingers, wrist, vision, and the parts of your brain that track position in space are all working together to produce one letter, then the next, then the next.
Typing throws all of that away. Every key on a keyboard requires the exact same finger motion regardless of which letter you are pressing, which means the brain has almost nothing to integrate and almost no problem to solve.
Van der Meer said it plainly in her interviews.
Pressing the same key with the same finger over and over does not stimulate the brain in any meaningful way, and she pointed out something that should scare every parent who handed their kid an iPad.
Children who learn to read and write on tablets often cannot tell letters like b and d apart, because they have never physically felt with their bodies what it takes to actually produce those letters on a page.
A decade before her, two researchers at Princeton ran the same fight using a completely different method and ended up at the same answer. Pam Mueller and Daniel Oppenheimer tested 327 students across three experiments, where half took notes on laptops with the internet disabled and half took notes by hand, before testing everyone on what they actually understood from the lectures they had watched.
The handwriting group won by a wide margin on every question that required real understanding rather than surface recall.
The reason was hiding in the transcripts of what the two groups had actually written down.
The laptop students typed almost word for word, capturing more total content but processing almost none of it as they went, while the handwriting students physically could not write fast enough to transcribe a lecture in real time, which forced them to listen carefully, decide what actually mattered, and put it in their own words on the page.
That single act of choosing what to keep was the learning itself, and the keyboard had quietly skipped the choosing and skipped the learning along with it.
Two studies. Two countries. Same answer.
Handwriting makes the brain work. Typing lets it coast.
Every note you have ever typed instead of written went into your brain through a thinner pipe. Every meeting, every book highlight, every idea you captured on your phone instead of on paper was processed at half depth.
You did not forget those things because your memory is bad. You forgot them because typing never woke the part of the brain that would have made them stick.
The fix is the thing your grandmother already knew.
Pick up a pen. Write the thing down. The slower road is the faster one.
I am currently active in the Chinese EV market and have been for a while. I would like to share some lessons I have learned to help anyone interested in importing cars from China. I am typing this in real time, so this will likely be a long thread. š§µ

Sermon Notes
Preacher: Pastor Poju Oyemade
Topic: Circumcision in Christ and True Worship
Walking with God Requires Agreement
Genesis 17:1
āWalk before me, and be thou perfect.ā
Perfection here means agreement with Godās purpose and agenda, not flawlessness.
Amos 3:3
āCan two walk together, except they be agreed?ā
Walking with God requires alignment with His vision and assignment.
Worship Unlocks Divine Strategy
Genesis 17:2ā3
āAnd Abram fell on his face: and God talked with himā¦ā
Worship creates the atmosphere where divine strategy and direction are released.
Promises move from general declarations to specific instructions in the place of worship.
Identity Must Align with Godās Word
Genesis 17:4ā5
āNeither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abrahamā¦ā
Abrahamās name changed to align with Godās promise.
Faith consistently calls itself what God has declared.
Romans 4:17
āCalling those things which be not as though they were.ā
The Covenant Included Fruitfulness and Nations
Genesis 17:6ā8
āI will make thee exceeding fruitful⦠nations and kings shall come out of theeā¦ā
Godās covenant included:
ā¢fruitfulness,
ā¢multiplication,
ā¢influence,
ā¢nations,
ā¢and kingship.
Circumcision Was the Covenant Sign
Genesis 17:9ā10
āEvery man child among you shall be circumcised.ā
This covenant pointed beyond physical circumcision to a deeper spiritual reality.
The Covenant Was with Christ
Galatians 3:16
āTo Abraham and his seed were the promises made⦠which is Christ.ā
Galatians 3:29
āAnd if ye be Christās, then are ye Abrahamās seedā¦ā
Believers in Christ are heirs of Abrahamās covenant promises.
True Circumcision Is of the Heart
Romans 2:28ā29
āCircumcision is that of the heart, in the spiritā¦ā
True circumcision is inward and spiritual.
God is focused on the transformation of the inward man.
The Circumcision of Christ Removes Fleshly Control
Colossians 2:11
āYe are circumcised with the circumcision made without handsā¦ā
This circumcision strips away:
ā¢carnality,
ā¢self-dependence,
ā¢confidence in the flesh,
ā¢and the control of the old nature.
The spirit man is then free to function fully.
Spiritual Circumcision Is Painful
Circumcision represents the painful process of removing dependence on:
ā¢people,
ā¢systems,
ā¢influence,
ā¢connections,
ā¢and natural strength.
It produces total dependence on God.
We Are the True Circumcision
Philippians 3:3
āWe are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit⦠and have no confidence in the flesh.ā
True worshippers:
ā¢worship in the Spirit,
ā¢rejoice in Christ,
ā¢and refuse to trust in the flesh.
Ishmael Represented the Flesh
Genesis 15:4
āHe that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.ā
Ishmael came through natural effort.
Isaac came through impossible circumstances that required supernatural intervention.
The spirit produces what the flesh cannot produce.
Wilderness Seasons Produce Dependence on God
2 Corinthians 1:8ā9
āThat we should not trust in ourselves, but in Godā¦ā
Some situations are designed to remove confidence in human ability and deepen trust in God.
Fellowship of His Sufferings
Philippians 3:7ā10
āThat I may know him⦠and the fellowship of his sufferingsā¦ā
True worship continues:
ā¢through disappointment,
ā¢delays,
ā¢pain,
ā¢unanswered questions,
ā¢and difficult seasons.
The fellowship of suffering becomes the gateway to resurrection power.
Worship Through the Wilderness
Exodus 17:7
āIs the Lord among us, or not?ā
Godās presence is not determined by outward comfort or visible results.
Worship continues:
ā¢when there is no water,
ā¢when doors close,
ā¢when people fail,
ā¢and when promises delay.
Results Flow from the Waters of Judah
Isaiah 48:1
āā¦which are come forth out of the waters of Judahā¦ā
Judah represents praise.
I mistakenly sent 2,300 naira for a product instead of 23,000 naira this afternoon to a vendor at his shop. Whatās funny is that I left the shop without the seller noticing, and I didnāt realize it myself until tonight. I had been busy editing since I got home and hadn't needed to make any transfers until I went to buy data.
I noticed I had extra cash, even though I thought Iād spent 23,000 Naira earlier. Knowing that money doesn't just appear in my account out of nowhere only when Iām being paid for a job, I checked my transactions and saw the 2,300 Naira. I realized then that I hadn't fully paid for the product.
I rushed back to the shop immediately not long ago to see if the person was still there. I found him and explained what happened. He had already noticed the error, and I could see the joy on his face seeing me return.. he was so happy he even offered to buy me a drink. Imagine if I were the type to just see it as āLuckā⦠the seller would have lost that money.
Iām so happy I returned to complete my payment.

I'll give married guys some free advice...
āChase your wife around the house. You turn something on in her. You guys become children for just that 4 minutes running around. š
āLift her off the ground. It says something to her mind. š
āBut if you want to keep the spark alive in the middle of a busy life, add these to the list:
āTake over the dinner chaos. When she is staring down the pot trying to figure out how to feed everyone, stepping in and saying, "I've got this," or just ordering the Friday night pizza or food so she doesn't have to cook, speaks directly to her soul.
āHandle the unsexy logistics.
āGive her the gift of absolute silence. Sometimes taking the kids out of the house for two hours so she can just exist in a quiet room without anyone needing anything from her.
āFlirt with her during the ordinary moments. A wink across the room while you are both cleaning up the kitchen reminds her that underneath the heavy titles of "Mom" and "Dad," you are still just two people crazy about each other.
āNotice the invisible labor. Thank her for remembering the scheduling, the grocery, and all the behind the scenes magic that keeps the house running. It bridges the gap and silently says, "I see exactly how hard you work for us."
āThe movie romance is great, but the trenches of everyday life are where the real connection happens.
Show up for her there.
Thereās a level you get to in His presence that words fail you. You are really SPEECHLESS!
You have to rely on the Holy Spirit to sing through you when words fail.
6pm(wat) today on YouTube, this sound premieres. Letās meet!
Kindly spread the word friends and see you there.
