@mward1246 I had to watch the replay and the mini once I got home. I was at the game and it was not looking good for most of the second half. The Brums weren't bad but things were not going their way. They stuck to their guns and in the end Blues were formidable Brumbies were indomitable
@adrianmckinty 24 years later I was in the same bookshop and again I had selected a novel by James Lee Burke and when I took it to the counter the staff member recommended I might like to read The Cold Cold Ground. And here we are 2/2
@adrianmckinty In about 1993 I was in a bookshop and took a James Lee Burke novel to the counter. The man behind the counter recommended I might also enjoy a James Ellroy novel so I also bought The Black Dahlia and then went on to read everything else by Ellroy. 1/2
@rohan_connolly@4mambo I sometimes wonder, for maybe a millisecond, if he is unaware of the irony in everything he says or writes and then he continues oblivious to his own fuck-wittedness.
@Peter_Fitz Just for the record, Nancy Pelosi’s husband was brutally attacked but was not murdered. I may agree with the overall sentiment but why post this with such an obvious error?
QUIT SALMON 🚫 Our crowdfunding campaign is in its last days – help us raise urgently needed funds. Industrial salmon farms are killing Tasmania. These toxic and nasty pens pollute the marine environment and are driving other marine species to extinction. https://t.co/B0u2wl9i0F
