@SantsRNTL Matched betting - he’s backing £500 then laying it off in the hope Liverpool go 2up - 365 pay out early - if Liverpool draw/Southampton win - he’s winning both bets.
@seanmcdonald01 Low IQs + narcissistic tendencies. When headcase conspiracy theorists struggle to understand something, they latch on to shit like this to make them look like they’re in the know. Feeding their ego and making them feel like the smartest person in the room. It’s a comfort blanket.
@carlogarganese Slow build up play and possession based tactics are what’s killing it and squeezing the fun out of it. I’d genuinely bring in a rule change like a shot clock or backwards pass limit. Centre halves consistently have the most touches in a game and that shouldn’t be the case. Boring
Aside from 2 or 3 matches. This Euros has been absolute garbage.
Another shiter of a match here. 0 shots on target from either team in 45 minutes - in a QF. I get players are knackered but fucking hell.
Slow, patient build up plays should be banned
@KitConnorsseur Again - I see your point. It just doesn’t sit right with me. Had Spurs have won tonight & Arsenal went on to win the league - then so be it. They deserved to win it and Spurs beating Man City wouldn’t have been the sole reason for this. So why not want your team to win regardless
Imagine being a Spurs fan and doing the fucking Poznan when your team goes 1-0 down to Man City, just because it potentially derails Arsenal’s title challenge. Even though your team is still in with a champions league spot if you win.
Absolute tinpot bastards.
@KitConnorsseur Fair enough. I see the point you are making, I just don’t agree with it. From a Spurs perspective- it’s petty and lacks ambition. But I suppose that sums Spurs up as a club. Supporting your team should mean wanting them to win every game. Everything else is irrelevant.
@KitConnorsseur They might not *need* the money. But it’s not all about money, is it? The fans certainly don’t benefit. Surely you want your team to win every match and finish as high up the league as possible? Hence why I said that celebrating an opposition goal to spite your rivals is tinpot.
@KitConnorsseur Taking revenue out of the equation, being in the CL attracts better players so thats massively counterproductive if the team needs major surgery? Out of interest - who are you referring to when you say “they don’t want it”?
@KitConnorsseur Hahaha honestly I’ve seen some horrendous takes on here but this one is a cracker. I’m curious about this logic of yours - being a Celtic fan - I assume you’re not arsed if they qualify for Europe, as they have virtually zero chance of winning either the CL or the EL?
@KitConnorsseur lol ok then - makes sense to miss out on the top competition in club football and forgo the fortunes in revenue that it brings because they require “more surgery to make it worth it” 🥴
@KitConnorsseur Not to be pedantic but it’s actually the opposite of shithousery as they are essentially on the brink of missing out on a Champions League spot.
