Some machine shops in America are building their own schools.

Paying people with zero experience to learn machining, covering their tuition, and putting them to work.

Penn United built its own 17,000 SQFT manufacturing school on its campus in Pennsylvania.

Called LIGHT. A classroom, lab, and factory floor!

@axiochrono Different for Americans and Australians for obvious reasons. Most came from somewhere else.

English seem kinda irked by the American affinity with Ireland. You'll see some guy called Sean O'Sullivan in New York who looks like a Garda etc. but they insist he has no connection.

@MacLughaidh Yup theyre looking the wrong way. It could be a Galway on steroids. They need to embrace the north west and build some cultural clout instead of always being laser focused on how Belfast gets everything. Appeal to the Wild Atlantic Way a bit more. Push for a few new museums.

@TF208No6 It's much more harshly Scottish in it's feel. The closest thing to Anglo is Trinity and that's in Dublin.
