Apparently in Florida, you are able to shoot and kill a neighbor through the door of your home without being arrested.
This is a long story about a neighborhood feud that ended up in a woman losing her life for simply trying to get her child's tablet back.
The neighbor apparently had a history of scolding and harassing the children playing, she had taken a tablet from one of the kids and eventually threw it at the child. When Ajike Shantrell Owens went to speak to the woman about what had happened she was shot through the front door of the house.
Now Marion County Sheriff's Office claims due to Florida's stand-your-ground law, they have to do an investigation before any charges can be considered.

These kids get to watch the woman who shot their mother go about her day as nothing happened.

🚨🚨🚨 Brand new Uvalde law enforcement body camera footage shows officers vomiting and sobbing outside after they entered the classroom.

After a months long investigation into why police hesitated during the Uvalde school shooting, the answer is the police were afraid to confront the killer’s AR-15.

This raises a very important question, if police are too afraid to confront an AR-15 where does that lead the rest of us?

Nearly 400 law enforcement officers were implicated in the poor response that left 19 children dead.
