I've tried very hard to contain my anger with this latest atrocity. If some of it has bled through, I apologize.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re Republican or Democrat.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re moderate or hardcore.
This transcends everything we claim to believe about governance, decency, and competence.
Marjorie Taylor Greene has been parading a sudden “kinder, gentler” rebrand — apologizing for “toxic politics,” talking about unity, even invoking kindness. That pivot is a lie. And HR 3492 proves it.
Her bill passed the House on December 17, 2025 (216–211) — without hesitation, without restraint. It criminalizes gender-affirming medical care for trans minors, making doctors and parents felons. Puberty-delaying medication. Hormone treatment. Medically indicated procedures. All redefined as crimes.
Penalties: up to a decade or more in prison.
Even traveling across state lines to obtain lawful, prescribed care exposes families to felony risk.
This is not “protection.” It is punishment.
Every major medical authority in the United States — including the American Medical Association, the American Psychological Association, and the American Academy of Pediatrics — recognizes this care as evidence-based and, for some patients, life-saving, with strong data showing reduced suicide risk among distressed youth. Greene ignores all of it and shouts “mutilation.”
Here’s the tell:
Her bill explicitly exempts the exact same medical procedures when performed on cisgender children — children whose gender identity matches the sex they were assigned at birth. Breast reductions. Hormonal treatment to slow unusually early puberty. Same medicine. Same doctors.
Only one group is targeted.
Now the contrast that should stop everyone cold.
For fifteen years, Republican leadership has promised an alternative to the Affordable Care Act. Since 2009. They’ve held majorities. They’ve had White Houses. They’ve had endless chances.
They have produced nothing.
And now, with enhanced ACA subsidies set to expire in days, more than 20 million Americans are facing steep premium hikes and coverage loss during inflation. Congress left town. No fix. No urgency. Families are about to be hit — hard.
Yet this bill?
This bill sails through immediately, on party lines, without delay.
So let’s be unmistakably clear:
I am NOT advocating unnecessary surgery.
I am NOT promoting “turning children transgender.”
I am NOT endorsing anything reckless or mutilative.
That caricature is propaganda, merely another of trump's endless library of rubbish talking points meant ONLY to make you angry over nothing that truly exists — and it is deliberately used to justify cruelty.
What I am saying is simple:
Criminalizing families and physicians for following established medical standards — while simultaneously refusing to govern on healthcare for millions — is moral rot.
I’ve seen this kind of state cruelty before. It always dresses itself up as “protection.” And it always turns out to be predation, aimed at a politically convenient minority while real problems are ignored.
If you think Marjorie Taylor Greene has softened, read the bill.
If you think this is about children’s safety, ask why identical care is legal for some kids and felonies for others.
If you think this is governance, ask why punishment moves faster than solutions.
This isn’t a rebrand.
It’s the mask slipping.
If you had a quick look at the character profile I built years ago of the average ride or die Trumper, I guarantee you'd see pretty quickly WHY they were such low hanging fruit, and extremely vulnerable to his "Im the Only One who cares for you, I'm the ONLY ONE who understands you bullshit. He KNEW he'd need an army to spread his rot so he built one from the pool of happy participants.
I'm a native of NYC, born and raised in the W. Village, so my exposure to him is 35+ years. Did you know that back then, he was a card carrying liberal, PRO CHOICE Democrat?? Surprise! Lol. Shows you what a soulless fraud he is. How completely unserious he is.
So in 1990, there was a huge scandalous criminal incident that was called The Central Park 5. All teenagers. All black or Hispanic. They were accused and convicted of raping a woman jogging in Central Park, and left her in a coma. The City lived and breathed the case, and as you'd probably guess, VERY highly polarizing. Here's where it got about as cringe as cringe gets.
The prosecution severely violated discovery rules by withholding critical evidence, and the timelines completely proved the teenagers were nowhere near the victim when the crime occurred.
The members of the Central Park Five (now known as the Exonerated Five) were released from prison between 5 and 13½ years after their 1990 convictions.
But none of the evidentiary truth that came to light stopped the Fool on the Hill from taking full page ads on 3 separate occasions DEMANDING these kids be executed immediately. Did t matter to him that they'd all been exonerated, and the true thug that was responsible was already in custody. The ads were graphic and very ugly and racist. In retrospect, it looked as if he were in training for TrashSocial. Truly sickening
@Suzierizzo1 Yah, I would. But ONLY because no matter what I HATE about all the damage he's done. I couldn't just let him drown. Yah I'd help him. But once I know he was safe? That's quite another story, to which I have no answer.
Lol. I've taken a turn. Apart from the ex hard core MAGAts I'm working with privately, I've lost every ounce of patience for those choosing to remain unaware. But, living in that hermetically sealed bubble without ever peeking out at the world will narrow their view, and eliminate any original thought I'm DONE being accommodating and pleasant to these complicit buffoons. Those still left are the most resistant to the truth, so trying to reach them is a battle not worth fighting. It's 100% unwinnable. I'm OVER and fucking well done!
6. Enacting Major Wall Street Reform (Dodd-Frank)
To ensure a financial crisis like 2008 never happened again, Obama signed the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act in 2010, which placed strict regulations on the banking industry and created the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) to protect everyday citizens from predatory lending.
7. Passing the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act
The very first bill Obama signed into law in 2009 was this landmark piece of legislation, which expanded worker protections against pay discrimination and made it easier for women to sue for equal pay.
8. Negotiating the Paris Climate Agreement
On the international stage, Obama successfully brought nearly 200 nations together in 2015 to sign a global pact aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and combating climate change. Trump subsequently pulled the U.S. out of the agreement.
9. Lowering the Federal Deficit (Post-Recession)
After injecting stimulus to save the economy in 2009, Obama steadily reduced the annual federal deficit. Between 2009 and 2016, the annual deficit fell by nearly $1 trillion. Under Trump, even before the 2020 pandemic, the deficit rose significantly every single year, largely driven by the 2017 tax cuts.
10. Repealing "Don't Ask, Don't Tell"
In 2010, Obama signed the legislation that officially ended the military's policy ban on openly gay, lesbian, and bisexual individuals serving in the Armed Forces, allowing them to serve their country honorably without hiding who they were.
Now. YOU tell me ONE good thing the Fool on the Hill did that benefitted anybody but himself? I'll be waiting
I need FAR MORE space but I'll capsulized.
1. Total Job Growth (Consecutive Months)
Obama oversaw the longest period of continuous job growth in American history—76 consecutive months by the time he left office. Comparing the final 36 months of Obama's term to the first 36 months of Trump’s (pre-pandemic), the economy added roughly 1.5 million more jobs under Obama than under Trump.
2. Passing Comprehensive Healthcare Reform
Obama passed the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in 2010, which extended health insurance to more than 20 million previously uninsured Americans and protected people with pre-existing conditions. Trump made repealing the ACA a core promise but was unable to pass a replacement through Congress.
3. Authorizing the Mission Against Osama bin Laden
In May 2011, Obama authorized the highly classified Navy SEAL raid into Abbottabad, Pakistan, that successfully took out the mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks, a major milestone in national security.
4. Rescuing the American Auto Industry
In 2009, Obama enacted the auto bailout, saving General Motors and Chrysler from total collapse. The move prevented an estimated one million job losses across the Midwest supply chain and ultimately saw the auto giants return to profitability and repay their government loans.
5. Bringing the Economy Back from a Historic Recession
Obama took office in 2009 during the Great Recession—the worst economic collapse since the 1930s. Through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, he stabilized the banking system and began a steady, 8-year economic expansion, inheriting a bleeding economy and leaving behind a highly stable one.

I LOVE Suno! I recently revoiced and rearranged Vivaldi's 4 Seasons Summer, presto movement into avant garde, voicing it with one piano, two cellos, and 2 flutes. It was exactly what I heard in my head. I HIGHLY recommend Suno furbthe serious musician.
Quel magnifique message ! Merci beaucoup.
He's a lonely old man NOT by choice. THAT's always the missing element. Studying the SCIENCE behind this behavior makes it crystal clear. He has the most profound case of NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder) I've EVER seen. The major difference between Grandiose Narcissism and Malignant Narcissism is the component of Sadism. Delighting in the suffering they create, the chaos they manufactured, and ALWAYS assigning blame where it doesn't belong. There's a brief overview of narcissism. To DJT, it's the ONLY way he knows. It's not a choice. It's a serious mental illness that's very hard to treat.
Thanks for that, Barb. The knee jerk reaction is something like, "oh no. Another quack shrink boasting about empathy. Yawn. Fuck off, libtard!" That triggered one of my fave Metallica songs to play in my head:
"Sad But True". Lol.
This might also interest you. I've been working with 3 hard core MAGA folk (completely pro bono) from FL. They're all thoroughly disgusted, and mostly with themselves. One of the wives thanked me for giving her "permission" to begin to like herself again. That really surprised me, so I told her the truth. "Xx, I'm not responsible for giving you permission to like yourself again. YOU did that, through your understanding about all we've discussed. I'm hoping that now you understand why I NEVER tell anyone how to reach their goals, no matter what they are. Were I to have told you what to do, you'd not have learned a thing! You arrived at that conclusion on your own, and it's because you've LEARNED from our sessions. You should be very proud, not subservient to me or anyone else telling you how you should feel. And if you aren't yet proud of yourself, don't worry :) I couldn't be more proud :). She cried and said softly," I DO understand, I think." I went in to point out the power of indoctrination, how it works slowly, and very insidiously. I reminded her of Jim Jones, David Koresh, Marshall Applewhite (Heaven's Gate), and David Miscavige (Scientology). DJT is as masterful as any if these cult leaders. It's the ONLY thing at which he excels!
