I AM PEE-D OFF BEYOND BELIEF. This Sh*t is UNBELIEVABLY dangerous and I AM DONE sitting by silently, whilst SUICIDES continue and the same old sh*t poor response and SERIOUS lack of KNOWLEDGE, RESPECT + UNDERSTANDING flys by ... year upon year!
When OH When are we going to FINALLY secure an ADHD Act in parliment? Being an individual with an ADHD diagnosis myself and also a practitioner working within CAMHS services, I am questioning how long we will have to wait until ADHD is given the recognition NEEDED 100%
ADHD is regularly dismissed with regards to FORMAL DISABILITY and subsequent protective factors - under law! MHP's (decision makers) - DO NOT KNOW THIS! It is equally MASSIVELY misunderstood, how ADHD impacts upon numerous areas of development and results in Mental Health Crisis!
Can someone kindly explain why the NICE Guidelines for ADHD appear to be recycling information concerning QB tests? QB tests have been used in NHS clinics for over 10yrs and have been regarded as a core part of the assessment toolkit. This is not new ….

What a fabulous article and so well written. I do not know how my fellow colleague actually finds the time! But I guess that is very representative of the person she is and the passion she possess. We are very lucky to have her heading up our shared vision for CYP at @MFTnhs

3 years on & there is still a lot to do! Even today, I was faced with professionals who spoke about ADHD in terms of ‘labelling’ and also relating it solely to behaviour 😶 These ppl are in charge of the assessment process. They decide who gets on the ADHD pathway and who doesn’t

Proud to be an unsung hero ♥️ We don’t do it for the glory. We just want to make it better. However, I don’t think it’s at all fair that our plight is made even more humongous by sheer ignorance from Governmental Services #ADHD https://t.co/Aadp4O3K4u
