my friend @streamerdan gifted me one of his ascended heroes ETBs and this is what i pulled from it on the last pack 😭
do you think he regrets giving it to me for free? LOL
I made a serious mistake and said things I deeply regret. There’s no excuse for it.
I’m really sorry to my fans, Envy, Riot, and everyone who supports me — I’ve let you down.
Ever since I started playing this game, I’ve wanted to be the best. For the past five years I’ve put in close to 10 hours a day grinding and trying to improve. During that time, especially in ranked, I’ve acted immaturely, and this is a clear wake-up call that I need to be better.
This year I started taking streaming seriously, putting in around 200 hours a month when I’m not travelling. I always try to be entertaining, but I got lost and understand that doesn’t excuse what I said.
As I approach 18, I want to become a better example, not a bad one. I accept my punishment and will use this time to grow and make sure it never happens again.
I’m fully committed to this game and to coming back the right way.
30% on plastic cases that cost them probably pennies on the dollar to manufacture is more or less nothing. Its not 30% on $10 for each order.
If we use your 30% inflation cost on $8 that would put the service at $10.40 adjusted for inflation. Factor a VERY generous $1.10 per case for their ‘cost’ and we are at $11.50.
To begin with we can asusme they were making money at $8 per card not to mention that they weren’t even getting extra income at the time not upcharging a majority of cards coming through.
Keep in mind these are BARE COSTS and are pretty much the same for each service level meaning there are service levels they are receiving profit margins of over HUNDREDS of %.
Case in point PSA should scale its operating much more drastically instead of passing charges to their customers for putting their card in plastic.
@Real_Pretzl@dylanpatriots@collectors@PSAcard Inflation + tariffs does NOT equate to over 200% increase of costs. Not to mention with economies of scale the process should only be getting cheaper and more standardized for them.
Why defend this?
