Here's my story
Rewind 22 years
I’ve just finished up in Primary school
A blissful village school deep in the depths of rural Devon
90 students
All of us friends
All I know is love, unity, freedom
Joy and peace come naturally
We graduate and go to the “big town” secondary school
800+ students from myriad backgrounds
My first day at school?
I see a single event that shifts my mindset & belief system for the next 9 years
And it involved my best friend’s big brother..
Let me give you some background
This dude’s name was Tommy..
I thought Tommy was the coolest dude in the world..
Not only was he super tall and immeasurably strong..
He knew all the WWE moves by heart
(Which made him a certified badman)
He had kicked my arse wrestling more times than I care to count
I couldn’t conceptualize of anyone more worthy of my admiration
He was essentially immortal in my eyes
The first thing I see when I get off the school bus?
Tommy running for his damn life
3 massive dudes chasing him down..
Only to beat the ever living shizer out of him
This single event..
And the subsequent rumors of new kids getting their heads flushed down toilets..
Shook the foundations of lil’ ol’ sensitive Leigh’s foundations to the absolute core
In the classroom & on the playground there were fights, mind games and power plays happening at every moment of every day
Life became a constant battle to survive
Of trying to insert oneself into the highest part of the social hierarchy to avoid conflict
School work?
It never even factored into my mind
Just getting through the day without becoming a target was my main priority
Back home in my village, I still experienced the bliss, joy and expansive openness to life that was my norm up until that point
I still remember, every time we’d get past a certain crossroads that signaled I was in my village I knew I was safe
I could feel my body breathe a sigh of relief
And all the tension, anxiety and defensiveness flow away
Life continued on much in the same way over the course of the next 5 years or so
Exacerbated by radical doses of testosterone flooding my bloodstream and an extreme addiction to World of Warcraft adding additional strain between me and my family..
And here’s the thing
Despite getting in the top set for every subject (apart from Maths) and getting predicted A s across the board for my GCSEs (Jr High exams) I completely flunked
The memory still burns vividly in my mind
Sitting in the car in the school carpark..
Opening the fated package
F B C B E E F
My mother couldn’t hide her look of concern..
Where had it all gone wrong?
I was, of course, incapable of expressing my emotions at that point
Anxiety?
Growth mindset?
WIN OR LEARN?
These weren’t concepts in my mind
This was back when you’d wait 7 mins for a JPEG of a scantily clad woman to load
The internet didn’t exist in the form we know it today
You had to figure things out for yourself
I was utterly lost - Zero direction - Zero clue - Zero hope
Not long after this true tragedy struck
My mother called my 14 yr old sister and me into the living room
The air was thick with a suffocating tension
Seeing both parents holding back tears..
I knew something was deeply wrong..
My Mother blurted out:
“Your Father has 3 months to live”
The next 3 years I entered living hell
To add to the tragedy my Aunt, Grandmother and a player on my football team all died within a short span of time
My Father - Who had been an image of immense strength, immortal vigor and loving support..
Became a brittle shell of his former self under the weight of the radiation flooding his body on a weekly basis
Seeing him mocked coming out of the neighboring village shop for his zombie-like appearance made me boil with rage
Confirming in my mind that one had to conform to survive
On top of all of this..
We had to sell our dream home..
The home I told myself I’d always live in
A beautiful near 1000 yr old farmhouse with 5 acres of land..
Everything that had provided a sense of safety and solace in a world that was revealing to me..
In ever greater degrees..
Just how cruel, vicious and cutthroat it was..
Had been ripped out from underneath me
Combine this with standard teenage angst..
Zero options or vision for moving forward..
And self-worth that was approximately zero..
I found myself stumbling from one thing to another..
In deep unconscious..
I still found joy in friends, the beach, nature and even video games..
But utter despair regarding any sort of “path moving forward”
Like many - I turned to alcohol
That became my safe place from 16 to 18..
As I went out “with the lads”
I’d end up getting in fist fights..
And dancing in a night club wishing I was ANYWHERE but there
It was the same old BS from school..
Just now with alcohol and drugs
There was a string of incidents..
Some of which were life-threatening and could have easily ended up with me dying..
(But I cannot mention here)
When I reflect upon it now..
I think that unconsciously I was seeking annihilation
The kicker was when my Mother..
Who had lost her Mother, Sister & Husband in a short space of time..
And who was dealing with 2 rebellious and wild children..
Had to pick me up at 4AM from Barnstaple Hospital
My teeth had been knocked out..
My lip split open
Eye red with blood
I still have zero recollection of what happened to this day
I saw the sadness in her eyes..
But also the all accepting love of a Mother
That which goes beyond “right” and “wrong”
Beyond any judgment
There was something so pure, so unsullied in that look and her love towards me..
I felt a glimmer of redemption & hope in the vastness of her non-judgemental love
And that was the catalyst for change more profound than I could have imagined
I started embracing a more positive mindset..
Having a greater degree of acceptance to life
Started to see hope..
Where previously there had only been dejection
I stumbled across a thread on esoteric practices for self-empowerment
And found instant solace in learning how to shield myself from negative forces..
Growing up in the previously aforementioned 1000yr old house..
There were a number of odd” events that occurred
And this was around the time paranormal activity came out on DVD..
My mind raced with wild possibilities..
Convinced there were demons lurking at the edge of the inky black darkness
Using this mental protection technique was perhaps the first time I’d used my mind as a conscious tool..
Rather than having it as an overbearing master
And the relief it provided was immense
This kick started an inner journey
A path towards freedom
I stopped drinking
Cut out 95% of my friend group
Disappeared off the face of the earth
I was learning, studying, applying and devouring all esoteric knowledge & wisdom I could get my hands on
I ended up purchasing a book
“Kriya Secrets Revealed” by JC Stevens
I started training daily
10 mins of meditation
20 mins
30
40
1 hour
1 hour 20
I’d never worked as hard nor gone as deeply into ANY skill in the past
I was shedding old layers of conditioning rapidly
And finding immense empowerment
As I turned my focus inwardly and started shifting vibration..
The outer world seemed to morph to match my internal perspective
I went back to College (High school) and got various qualifications
But after college..
I was still working at ASDA as a delivery driver..
2 months in?
I became disillusioned with the job
The people
The situation
It all just felt so GRIM
I told my Mum “I quit - I’m not going back”
3 weeks later..
She hands me a brochure about a higher learning program
A 1 year intensive course that will allow me to go to University
“Brilliant - 3 years of not having to work in the “real world”
The following 16 months were incredibly powerful
I felt like a lotus in a pool of muddy water starting to bloom
And after all the work and effort..
Fuelled by a new belief and love for myself..
I ended up getting into University
This was not something I had ever considered even an option for a lowly moron like myself
And yet here I was..
And it felt like just the beginning
I still remember on the first day - Seeing the Sun rise - Realizing I had been reborn
I could say with full confidence and authenticity that I TRULY loved & accepted myself
I felt a supreme sense of liberation
My mind felt like a great fog had been lifted..
I was sharp, could see things in people that they couldn’t see in themselves
That same week after truly stepping into self-love I met my soulmate in a 0.001% chance encounter
But I was starting to realize a powerful truth:
When you align yourself with love, the Universe conspires in your favor
All of a sudden life was alive with opportunities and moments of celebration and joy
Fast forward 3 years of University merriment..
My meditation practice had increased to 4+ hours a day
Constant contemplation
My mind was so sharp that with a slight inclination it would slip into meditative absorption states described as
“Rapture not of the flesh”
Specific, repeatable states of bliss
Kundalini, mystical visions, divine downloads and songs from the heavenly realms..
All of these wonderful, but ultimately transient, experiences led up to a BIG BANG
A direct experiential understanding of the “I AM” realization
The thin thread of attachment to the idea of a separate severed permanently
Along with it went any remaining flecks of doubt about the path
But as the joyous, carefree bliss of University came to and end..
I found myself at another crossroads
My then GF now wife was back in her home country of Malaysia
And we were faced with a decision
Save up
Long distance
Figure out a place to try to make it work
Or simply give up & call it a day
We decided to stick it out
After all we were each other’s first real relationship
And what we had felt pure - I couldn’t imagine life without her
So..
2.5 years of long distance
Eventually we end up in Japan to forge a new life together
3 years in Nagasaki..
4 in Osaka
We finally make the choice to have children
The process goes smoothly
(All glory to God)
And she’s quickly pregnant
Around this time I was starting out on Twitter as an ANON account
I was sharing my thoughts
Building traction, momentum
Coaching a few people on the side for free
At this point I’d been informally coaching in various forms for a number of years
A lot of my advanced Japanese students would say it was more like therapy than a language lesson..
And they were greatly appreciative of that fact
It was always something I was naturally drawn to
Perhaps because one of my core values is help reduce suffering where possible
Sometimes this simply means a genuinely warm “Hello” or “Thank you”
Other times this means snapping someone out of their imposed prison of thought in a very direct manner
I had made a firm commitment years back to be a light unto the world..
Not for personal glory or adoration
But to serve in the only way I knew how
Time goes by
I started to offer paid services
My first client paid $150 dollars for 1 month of coaching
He had a profound perspective shift
And it opened my eyes to both my true calling & a different way of operating
Of having time and location freedom
Of being able to create from the heart
2 clients who were getting coached for free signed up for 2 months of paid coaching
Then another client came..
Then 3 more..
And in the 7 months I’ve been at this I’ve had the honor to coach over 15 entrepreneurs and individuals from all round the world
Some were 7-8 Fig biz owners
Some were high level sales people at fortune 100 companies
A few were even University students…
But they all shared a common thread
They wanted greater degrees of mental freedom
Deeper depths of peace
To ascend their level of consciousness and taste just how sweet life can be
When you want to make a GENUINE SHIFT it's never easy
You're dissolving DECADES worth of conditioning
It was challenging at times..
But I can wholeheartedly I truly love what I do
And it’s a gift to be able to help others step into greater depths of freedom
Just this last week I’ve heard things from:
“I can’t actually believe I’m where I’m at right now - I’m insanely grateful to you!”
To
“You’ve taken me deeper than any other coach I’ve ever had”
Even
“I know it sounds bizarre but the sound of the leaf blower filled me with love and made me tear up”
One of the core pillars of my program is this:
Freedom is your natural state
The awe bliss and joy you felt as a child can be accessed RIGHT NOW
In fact - It never went anywhere
It’s just that all the unconscious perspectives that lead to stress, anxiety and beyond obscured that which is naturally yours
Profound peace
Deep freedom
The ability to love and be loved beyond belief
The things that make life so sweet and juicy..
But we drift away from as we get older and entrenched in the grind of adult life
I feel immeasurably blessed to be doing the work I’m doing right now..
To be working with the guys I’m working with
To be able to facilitate people stepping into their own personal power and natural joy
To have a degree of mental freedom and genuine inner peace beyond what I ever conceived possible
That's my for now
Let's see where it goes in 2024
If you made it this far
My gratitude to you for reading, and my love to you for just being you
All glory to God
@Luthien790@TrickVAL Not a bad idea. I just think they should make a switch where maybe it’s still a sound trip but doesn’t stun them? Or stuns less for more info? I’m not sure just something to tell if some one is there. I would instalock every game lmfao
I think a story can be considered great when, consensually speaking, people start referring to the characters as if they are real. Think Griffith/Guts dynamic. Everyone has distaste for Griffith, and don’t call him the fallen hero of a fictional story.
