On average Members of Congress make 600% returns on their stock portfolio and that is simply because they are privy to inside information. Everybody knows it, yet when I introduced bipartisan legislation to ban stock trading in Congress, Hakeem Jeffries blocked it.
Yet if normal civilians, or in this case, military members engage in insider trading they face decades in jail??? I’ve had it with the two tiered system on justice when it comes to corruption on Capitol Hill.
🇪🇺🇧🇬 While the EU was focused on toppling Orban in Hungary, they forgot about Bulgaria... oopsie
A pro-Kremlin party just won a landslide there, an EU and NATO member on Europe's southeastern flank.
Former president Rumen Radev, who has drawn comparisons to Orban, took roughly 44% of the vote.
He wants to resume Russian gas flows into Europe, improve relations with Moscow, and has opposed military support for Ukraine.
No doubt the EU bureaucrats will be desperately trying to find a way to annul this one.
@KMooreGilbert Surely spending time locked up in an Iranian prison you would have had sufficient time to reflect on your poor decisions contributing to the above?
Could the formation of gold deposits start within "Fool's Gold?" 🪙
A new study published in #GSABulletin reveals that the formation of one of the largest gold deposits in the South Tianshan region begins long before the gold is even “visible.”
By analyzing multiple generations of pyrite and arsenopyrite, researchers uncovered a multi-stage process:
• Early “pre-gold” enrichment occurs in microscopic pyrite during sediment formation
• Regional metamorphism remobilizes that gold into fluids
• Fluid phase separation (boiling) concentrates gold into economically significant deposits
The study also shows that these deposits are tightly linked to fault-controlled zones and deformation, highlighting how tectonics, fluids, and chemistry all work together to form gold.
Thus, gold deposits aren’t formed in a single moment—they’re the result of a long, multi-stage evolution of fluids, rocks, and deformation deep within Earth’s crust.

LMAOOOO the ABC went to Sunny Days Care - the NDIS business we featured in our NDIS fraud video @PeteZogoulas
How about a shoutout ABC - we got there 3 months before you!
BREAKING: @PeteZogoulas and I identified a black market money laundering business run by a Hezbollah supporter facing criminal charges - right next to the scam West Sydney NDIS business Sunny Days Care seen in our video.
Alaa Al Fadheli runs ''Abrar Money Services'' alongside a black market tobacco shop called ''Cherry Convenience Tobacconist.'' His Facebook reveals posts memorialising Hezbollah terrorist leader Nasrallah: ''Congratulations on attaining martyrdom, O leader of the resistance.''
We sent an undercover mate to Alaa Al Fadheli's shop to buy black market Manchester cigarettes for $17.50.
The ABC have described Manchesters as ''the most prolific illegal, and counterfeit, cigarette brand on the market, imported in vast quantities from the Middle East.'' They sell for roughly one-third of what you'd pay for a normal packet of cigarettes at Coles or a servo.
So Mr. Al Fadheli has obviously been building up mountains of unbankable black market cash from his black market tobacco business, which he then launders through his cash transfer business.
He seems to be running an illegal/unlicensed hawala business. The way this works is that if somebody from Lebanon or Iraq wants to transfer thousands in cash to a relative in Australia, they drop the cash off to a broker in Lebanon or Iraq who then passes a code to a corresponding person in Australia.
The relative in Australia then goes to the tobacconist, gives the number, and receives the equivalent amount of cash from the shop’s cash pile.
Abrar Money Services specialises in the transfer of Iraqi government and military pensions to refugees living in Australia. A comment on their Facebook page read: ''They're abroad, they're getting salaries in Iraq. What a great country!''
Indeed, what a great country.
I love how every day we discover new schemes to systematically defraud us.
The Premier of Greenland, Jens - Frederik Nielsen explains in an interview with KNR what really happened during the spectacular submarine incident that took place seven nautical miles off Nuuk on Saturday.
On Saturday afternoon, a large American submarine unusually surfaced seven nautical miles off Nuuk. Arctic Command later explained that the submarine had surfaced because one of the crew members was in urgent need of medical treatment.
The rescue operation was carried out using a Danish Defence Seahawk helicopter deployed from the inspection vessel Vædderen.
KNR had previously interviewed the Chairman of Naalakkersuisut, Jens-Frederik Nielsen, about the case, but the interview was later withdrawn before publication at his request. He now explains that at the time he did not have the correct information.
“The information I had received myself, I had misunderstood and interpreted incorrectly, and I am now correcting that. I will of course state what is correct,” he says.
In a new interview with KNR, Jens-Frederik Nielsen explains what preceded Saturday’s unusual sight.
He states that on February 20 — Friday — the Americans requested permission to enter Greenlandic waters because a person on board the submarine was seriously ill and required assistance.
“We are dealing with a seriously ill person on board a submarine located in our waters and close to our country. Therefore, we have an obligation to help. Within the framework of the defence cooperation, we must remember that we are part of a community, and naturally we will fulfill our obligations and provide assistance,” he says.
KNR also contacted the U.S. Department of Defense. In response to a number of questions about the incident, an official from the Department sent the following statement to KNR:
“The United States can confirm that a nuclear-powered U.S. Navy submarine made a brief, unplanned stop in waters off Nuuk to secure urgent medical care for a sailor suffering from a non-combat-related illness. The sailor is receiving treatment in Nuuk. We have no further information at this time.”
At the same time, KNR contacted Arctic Command for comment, but they responded that they do not comment on other nations’ operational matters.
The submarine has attracted considerable attention, particularly in light of the U.S. President’s continued interest in Greenland. Donald Trump has repeatedly stated that the United States should take over Greenland.
However, Jens-Frederik Nielsen stresses that the submarine should not give rise to concern.
“The matter has been handled within the framework of defence cooperation, and our country is part of this cooperation, even though there may be differing views on it. Different interpretations may arise in light of various statements, but we have a close defence partnership that has existed for many years.”
When asked whether other submarines are operating in Greenlandic waters, he replied:
“To our knowledge, there are no other submarines in our waters. But I want to emphasize again that submarines, regardless of which country they belong to, do not normally disclose their position. The submarine in question is from the United States and is part of the defence cooperation, and wherever it may be operating in the waters, it does so within the framework of that cooperation.”
Jens-Frederik Nielsen also acknowledges that Naalakkersuisut should have informed the public earlier about the incident.
“When something happens within the defence sector or in other areas, we naturally have a duty to inform, and we must become better at doing so,” he says.
Two days after the incident, U.S. President Donald Trump announced on his social media platform, Truth Social, that the United States would send a hospital ship to Greenland.
Jens-Frederik Nielsen has since publicly declined the offer.

@LynAldenContact@MichaelAArouet Geologists learn this in their first year of studies. The challenge with man induced climate change is the rate of change.
A State Department of Fish and Wildlife sends a letter to a home/landowner asking for permission to access a creek on his property to document the decline in a certain species of unheard of frogs.
The property owners' response in the second letter is EPIC.
Letter from Dept. Of Fish & Wildlife:

“Let’s Go Brandon!”

Even the most rusted on Labor tragics will surely have a hard time defending a massive new tax from which former senior politicians and public servants are specifically exempt.
The taxation of unrealised gains is an act of bastardry right up there with land tax on the family home and death taxes.
