A study by the American Medical Paediatric Association has found that spending excessive time on screens could impede children's development. The finding came from a study of a group of 8000 children aged 1, 2, and 4 years. One-year-olds were found to be more vulnerable than four-year-olds. Some of the challenges include delayed development in their communication skills. Paediatrician, Dr Sanelisiwe Balfour, explains this in detail.
