@marclou Let's point out that having a course or a product is not a startup, and having an app built over a weekend or a community on the side is also not "a startup". All your paid offerings are also the same target audience. That's why you don't understand the advice.
@hunvreus Let's start by not saying anything when there is nothing to add :) that would cut the noise a lot. So many people just repeat what's already posted, and all social media grow tools are based on this - just copy what resonated and call it a day.
@willmcgugan Hope you like Chiang Mai! I think it is good and well-priced place to be. Just for trips the weather is essential as going on a motorbike in rain or hiking after rain is not that fun :( Hope you have better weather.
Koh Phangan is quite unique in Thailand. It has two worlds: west for yoga/wellness/hippie/esoteric stuff and the east for parties.
I am on the west side and with yoga and great saunas it is very pleasant place to be! I don't think there is a big nomad/tech community, especially off season. So that's the downside.
But now it is quite empty, empty roads, relaxing. Not that much rain and pleasant breeze. Samui to me is much more like Phuket: more traffic, resorts, etc.
I was in Chiang Mai one year ago, but because it was off season, the rain disrupted a lot of trip ideas I had :(
@dr A bit better on the Markdown->site explanation. But why do you e.g. use ambiguous "docs" instead of saying documentation (as opposed to documents)?
