I saw a Volvo pulling a van trailer today. The entire truck had a wrap on it, ground effects and all. The wrap was a picture of old catalytic converters, like someone snapped a close-up of a scrap dumpster.
In the 1960s and 70s, the federal government invested massive money in rural America and it produced shocking results. In the Rural Renaissance of the 1970s, rural areas grew faster in both jobs and population than metro areas. Rural America can be revived, it’s been done before
@bl_ag_inc It's not a lack of ambition as much as realizing what's actually important. I'm still very ambitious, my goals have just changed over the years. I used to be ambitious to a fault, now I'm ambitious to an end.
@gerald_nor55467@TheShawnHendrix This is such a line of shit. Plenty of people want to work. They just don't want to end up fat and stressed out like dad, and live in a place that makes kids want to leave as soon as they graduate. Back when farming involved actual work, lots of people stuck around.
